My son is receiving calls this afternoon stating that he had taken out a title loan for 500 dollars and that they are getting ready to place a lawsuit againest him. He said they have a very heavy accent and are yelling and screaming at him and demanding money. He is calling to have the number blocked. Since they are calling his cell phone he is also calling all of the Credit Agencies to put them on alert for any activity on his account. Would like to hear from others about their experience.

I received the same message, threatening me and my work with a lawsuit for a payday loan i never took out....I could barely understand this due but he had all my personal information..

I received the same harassment and calls mentioned above in the same manner and I have taken the liberty to report them. No one should share their personal information with them and should seek to record the conversation in order to bring forward any suits necessary to these scam artists.

He said his name is Adam Smith and he is from some law dept and a lawsuit has been filed against me for failure to to pay a payday loan . I am filing Chapter 7 and he would not take my atty's name or number !I told him what he was doing was illegal and he said to sue him !

Left threatening messages at both my home and work. A man with a very heavy Indian accent pretending to be an officer by the name of Smith...Almost the identical message I received several months ago from another number.

We received a call from the same number wasn't sure what it was. Thanks for the information so we can handle these people. Wasn't sure what they were doing and we haven't returned their call.

SCAM!!!! They keep calling and saying that we owe different sums of money.
