CHARLOTTE, N.C. ? The Better Business Bureau is warning homeowners about an air duct cleaning company operating in Charlotte, doing business under the name of Green Air Care....

I did this...and am STILL getting thier calls.
They showed up in an unmarked van in plain clothes and I  handed them a letter to stop calling.  They freaked out when I took pictures of them. and took off.  I reported them to the police with thier licence plate #.  Police said if they call again to file a harassment suit.  They have still continued calling.........

tried. no logo on van and no  LIcense plate was on vehicle

can not get valid address from these scum.

BBB Warns Homeowners about Air Duct Cleaning Business, Green Air Care

CHARLOTTE, N.C. ? The Better Business Bureau is warning homeowners about an air duct cleaning company operating in Charlotte, doing business under the name of Green Air Care.

?The BBB has received eight complaints in the past few weeks about Green Air Care and the company has an F rating,? said BBB President Tom Bartholomy. ?The company has not responded to three of the complaints and five additional complaints are pending.?

Complainants allege that Green Air Care:

1. Repeatedly called to set up appointments for air duct inspection which continued after the homeowner told them to stop as they were in violation of the ?Do Not Call? registry.

2. Gave homeowners the impression that they were with well-known air conditioning and repair services in Charlotte, in order to gain the homeowners? trust and set up the appointment.

3. Offered a $49.99 duct inspection and cleaning to gain entry into their home and then told them that they had mold and other costly problems.

4. Used high pressure techniques to sell multiple services, products and equipment costing up to six thousand dollars to clean and sanitize air ducts. Homeowners were told that these products and services were needed to control the spread of mold, germs, dust mites, chemical pollutants and other allergens in their home.

5. Listed their address as 401 South Tryon Street in Charlotte.

?Green Air Care has used nine business names and they are not located at the Charlotte address that they have given to homeowners,? said Bartholomy. ?Credit card payments made by local homeowners to Green Air Care have been credited to a business in California and paperwork lists the company name as Indoor Air Quality.?

Take the call.  Make the appt.  When they show up explain that you tried to find info on their company but could only find BBB warnings.  They will deny that it is them.  Then explain that you need proof that they are bonded to do the work they promise.  If they offer to call their California HQ, decline.  Tell them you need the name and phone number of their insurance company instead. If they say they don't have it, then tell them to call CA and get it.  If they give you any info, tell them to wait outside while you go and verify it by phone or Internet.  It's a good bet they will not provide you with this or any info that might reveal their identity.  They don't even carry personal IDs on them.  

These crooks have changed their phony caller ID number. New number is 919 524 5888.  I continue to call their office 877 805-0577 to give them a little grief.

OK - So you are on the national Do Not Call list and these law breakers are still calling to sell you air duct cleaning? SIMPLE FIX:

(1) Go ahead and schedule an appointment but do not pay over the phone.
(2) Confirm all appointments when they call to verify the appointment, and take diligent notes on when they call and what number they call from.
(3) File a do not call complaint with your state DOJ (Department of Justice) and print a copy for your records.
(4) Write a letter to give to the company politely explaining that you are on the do not call list and have filed a Do Not Call complaint. Keep in mind that they probably hired a telemarketing company and may not be aware that they are dirtbag lawbreakers. In your letter, do include the complaint number and contact information your State DOJ office. Suggest in the letter that it is in their best interest to rat out the telemarketing company or they will be fined by the State DOJ.
(5) On the day they arrive for your appointment, greet them in your driveway with your cellphone recording video in hand. Hand them the letter and politely explain to them that they violated the do not call list and you are not interested in a cleaning. Tell them that the letter includes your open DOJ. Politely tell them that this their fault for wasting your time on the phone so now you are wasting their time. Take your cellphone and make a nice video of them, get their license plate.
(6) contact your state DOJ office with the updated information on your complaint.
(7) repeat as needed with all telemarketers. Eventually companies will stop using telemarketing and the telemarketing companies will go out of business.

Just got a  call @ 6:31pm., 03/14/14. Seeing a 980# I didn't answer. Voice mail was left; All I got was "action, press 1 to speak to us, or press 2, to have your number removed".  Damn ILLEGAL telemarketers!,

The above number works. They have received about 20 annoying calls recently.

This company has called me twice, if not more. I have enter the #2, which is suppose to remove you from their call list, & hey still call! Last time I stayed on the line, & when the receptionist answered,I asked why they were calling me, because I'm on the National Do Not Call List. She hung up on me.  These companies Now call, & seem to think they can bypass the System, by giving you the option to be taken off Their list!  The National DO Not Call List,is So they Never call you in the First place!  Put them all in Jail!!

Here's a number in Charlotte to call to "get removed" from their call list, which is a bunch of BULL. However, you get a live person who will be annoyed but PROMISE you that your number will be removed. Then, she hangs up - Like Every time you get a call from the number, call this number 1-800-208-9887 and tell them you need to be removed from their call list - EVERY TIME.  Regardless, whether you live in Charlotte or any other city or state, call the number. Annoy them.

Yeah.  I tried to call back too, because when I pressed 1 so I could ask them to remove my name from their list, they hang up on you like the scum they are. I'm going to try some of the suggestions above!   Thanks everyone!!

I am getting calls from this company multiple times a day. I try to call the company back to ask them to remove my number. I get a message stating that this number is no longer in service.

These people are scumbags to put it politely. Call several times EVERY DAY.   Something about cleaning air and dryer ductwork. I first tried "pressing 2 to be removed". NOT.   Then I tried talking to them but they hang up on me.   And of course if you call back, the number doesn't work.  Would love to have a nice visit from them.  Think I'm going to try and set one up!!   Can't they be stopped???

They call several times a week.  I tried calling back the number and got a recording saying the number is not in service. This time, I pressed 1 to speak to someone and she answered "ABC Green Care." I asked her to stop calling me and she abruptly hung up.  Must be a scam.

Made an appointment this morning with these scum. Just sitting outside waiting to see if they show up.. if they do my goal is to get ad much identification as possible for a legal suit against them. Have phone in hand, camera ready and a .45acp for backup...  I hate these scum...

These lowlife scum called at 11:02.am.  I was actually able to schedule an appointment with that's low life's. Now waiting to see if they show up. If they do I plan to obtain as much identification on theses scum and then file law suit.  So here I am sitting outside @47 degrees with phone in hand ready to dial 911 and a camera ready to take pictures. Also have a 45acp on my side for trouble...

These numbers are valid . They have changed their name to green air care.. still they are lowlife scum...

use the 888 506 7052 number, they have changed their  name since yesterday to Green Air care. number still valid just called and played revelle for them.... might have to call and play taps for them...

888 506 7052 ....this is the number shown on my at&t call log that shows on my phone as 980 220 0172  is a caller id spoof number used by the low lifes calling as Indoor Air Quality of Charlotte. Theses folks have no regard for the do not call list. so I call them with my number blocked and harass them
