I received a call from this company, they left a message stating name of person, with my case number, that I need to be available between 6pm and 7pm so that they can serve me with papers, if I do not compromise that they will take action, mail papers by certified mail and publish my debt and my name in all local newspapers if I do not respond to this number immediately 1-980-225-1166. I called that number and phone just rang and rang, call information to tell me where are code was from. Information said that they could not locate number but that it was a North Carolina area code, no listing to be found under that number. Asked information to give me the attorney general office number for North Carolina 1-919-716-6400. I will be filing a complaint with attorney general from that state and my state. They do not even know who this number belongs to and they leave this personal information about this individual. By Law you are not to leave personal information but to just leave a number for call to be returned if you are individual they are looking for.

Bunch of losers that are harassing the innocent for a buck, get a real job collect from the millionaires, you probably feel you are entitle to do this since the IRS can do it to all those innocent individuals you feel you have or have earned that right. I hope that more people write in. Don't forget per Debt Collection Law, you need to send letters in writing, you are not suppose to threaten people like you do, once they tell you to stop calling you need to stop or a lawsuit will be filed against you, your homeowners, company, etc for defamation of character and/or harassment. Take your pick idiots, read the law before you start leaving messages in peoples phones.

I got this call from 980-225-1166. when i called back a mr. jenkins say they sent papers to my county to be served on me.  the say i owe a payday loan from 2009.

they call me several times a week and threaten me with court from 2008. they wake me up and call after 9 and from several different numbers. they say they are RPG and a litigation company. i want them to leave me alone!

This is the infamous debt collection office of rpg.  A debt collection company who states that you have an "outstanding" bill with a company you may or may not know.  This is to include people you may or may not know as well.  However since they have you on the phone, they will try to get you to "pay" the "outstanding" debt if not for yourself then for the "other" person who created it.  To them they just don't care as long as you just pay the damn thing off.  What is even more amusing is that this debt may already be several years old.  If this is the case then the debt has already been "written" off by the person that it originated too.  This totally rude and selfish company buys these "debts" for pennies on the dollar ... if that and then makes a rash of hard calls to us good people who don't own the debt to try and get us to pay it just so they will leave us alone.  A pretty good scam if you ask me.

So my word of advise is this ... be rude because they are ... if they threaten legal action ... tell them to go ahead and make your day, because well for the amount of money they paid for these charge offs isn't worth their time.  They just like to scare ya and see if you cave in.  Tell them not to call you ever again to include your friends, work place and what not.  If your phone happens to record with-out them knowing about it make sure you record it so you have record of it and make sure you ask them for the date and time.  They really love that let me tell ya.  For the states that require you to inform them, then tell them after your done like this ... oh by the way our conversation has been recorded and then hang up ... it really gets them if they happen to be rude or just an a$$hole.  If they proceed to call you there after, just write down the date and time ... its not like you have to talk to them because most of their calls are robo anyways and they don't pay attention.  From there contact your attorney general ... list your complaint and let them deal with it.  This is where you play the recording of you telling them to cut the s*** and if you just happen to keep the robo recorded messages that comes in after that even better.  Now on their behalf they will say it takes awhile to be "taken" out of the system.  Well if it goes beyond a week then the law looks at it differently and man do I love my attorney general.

So there you go, these are dirt bags and are being investigated as we write.  So please log your complaint with your attorney general because the more they get the better it is for us and not for this collection company.  Now it's time for a beer ... class dismissed!

Same thing here. Recorded message when they call you, then press 1 to speak to someone. Resolution Performance Group is what they call themselves. They told me it was regarding a bad check from 2009. Funny, but I do not have a checking account, I use cash, so where did the bad check come from, & if it was true, it is now 2013, and you are just getting to it? Big scam!!

Just got a call from this number so i called them back. they asked me what number did they call. Shouldnt they know who they are calling or do they just have someone doing it for the fun of it. they are going to serve me with a summons for court. Got a call about a 2 months ago and they still havent showed up. I think this is a scam that these people get your number from the internet and try to scam you. when I asked him that i think this is a scam he just said ok pal and hung up on me. Companies to not hang up on you if they are legitamate, they will talk to you and try to get it solved.

They too just called me and left me a voice mail threatining me with the summons.  I called the number back that they left me but they wouldn't say who they are.  They would not identify themselves at all, even after me telling them that I am a police officer.  Just so all of you know, it is illegal for any company to try collecting any deby by threatning you as well as the fact that they are REQUIRED to indentify themselves when doing so.  Next time you call them, try recording the conversation and take it to the authorities yourself.

I too have received numerous calls from this company. They have been leaving messages for about a year now threatening to serve a summons on me if I do not call this number. When I call the number they will not tell me who they are, they just keep asking. "Did someone call you?" It is against the law to call and threaten someone with court action, which they have been doing over a year now. They will lay off for a while and then start back up.

This number calls into my phone and leaves voicemail from RPG:, please call 855-274-1285, saying your case, or your file has been turned over. I put a longer message/note under the 855 number on this site. May be a collections company for bad Sallie Mae loans. I ignore both numbers now and never give my own name or information to companies I don't know.

Received a call on my cell claiming to be Inspector Peter and when I called the # back, a Sabrina answered and she has called me on a NY # and a 877#.  I told them they need to send in writing who I owed the amount and the date. I told her this a week ago and she said they mailed it on the 5th.  I told her I did not receive anything from them so if they cannot send me the information to validate it is a legitmate debt, then it is not.  I actually went on to the company they said I owed web site and no information for me is on there. If this allegedly happened back in October why am I hearing about it now? Why did the original company ever send me anything.  I have been reading the posts about the 877 # and they are a nasty debt collection agency.  I have been told not to give them any information.  If they want to file a civil suit, go right ahead.
