Do not want calls.  Do not need their protection.  Need protection from their calls!

Report the calls to the FTC EVERY time they call.  The penalty is potentially $11,000 per call federal, and more than that in some state penalties.

You can file a complaint by telephone to 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL-FCC (1-888-835-5322) TTY, by fax to 1-866-418-0232, via the electronic form at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints, or mail.

The Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) prohibits sellers and telemarketers from engaging in certain abusive practices that infringe on a consumer?s right to be let alone.

The Rule?s privacy protections include prohibitions on:
calling a person whose number is on the National Do Not Call Registry or a person who has asked not to get telemarketing calls from a particular company or charity.
misusing a Do Not Call list.
denying or interfering with a person?s Do Not Call rights.
calling outside the permissible hours.
abandoning an outbound telephone call.
failing to transmit Caller ID information.
using threats, intimidation, or profane or obscene language.
causing any telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass.

Why is this stupid "Ultimate Protection" calling me?   I need protection from it!  

Getting several calls daily but no one on the line.

Annoying silence when you answer the phone, then they hang up.

Received two calls yesterday, three today.  "Ultimate Protection".  I have them blocked on my brand new Panasonic land line phone.  8o)   The phone still rings once.  8o(      Wish it would block silently.

They call every single day. Several times. No one is on the line.

Calling more than once every day.  Very annoying!!!!!!!!.  No one will say anything.  I am on the federal no call list and have reported them.

Yesterday I received a call from 980-265-5619. That was a woman who introduced herself as Christine. She tried to offer me to install GE wireless home protection devices. I told her to stop calling my number since it is in the DO NOT CALL LIST. This is actually a second call from this number. I have already complained several times to the FCC about scam calls on my both phones, and looks like it is not working. Should we take law into our own hands?

Caller started a talking quickly, a scripted sales pitch for home protection services that they were "giving" away in my area. I stopped him, and said loudly, over him, that I wanted my number removed and placed on their Do Not Call list, which I I have been on for 4 years. Caller apologized and said he will place my number on their Do Not Call list, we will see, But considering they are spoofing their phone number in the first place gives me absolutely no confidence in  anything they say or promise to do. I did not hear the exact name of company they were selling, but it was like what ADT offers, where that charge you monthly to monitor you

I also have been receiving phone calls from this number.  Pick up say hello and no one answers you then all of a sudden you get a quick busy signal.  So very annoying.  I have called the do not call registry for my phone but guess that does not work.  Maybe I will try it again.

Calls daily with no one answering.  I always wonder if someone is checking to see if anyone is home.

Unfamiliar with speech, this new Scammer hung up on my answering machine this afternoon! Caller ID indicated "ULTM PROTECTION", like I needed their "Ultimate Protection" from something! :-) .... Ignoring them and giving them to my Call Blocker IS my "ultimate protection" from morons like this route-step buffoon!

cller id: "Charlotte NC". As typical hung up after 4 rings when answering machine picked up. Let's guess...... credit card lower rate? home electric Energy Audit? Microsoft virus? Auto Warranty company?

Calls & won't say anything until I speak. I just hang up but starting to call more often. As I work at home this is very disruptive. I called the number back & it tells you to press the number 1 to be placed on the do not call list which I did about 10 times. Hope in some small way that annoys them as much as they do me :)
