Is there any way that we can these asxxxx off our back.
They keep calling me say they are from Microsoft that my computer has some  problem.

Had a 'missed call' showing up from this number- decided to do some investigating since the area code is from Charlotte, North Carolina. I'm in Ontario, Canada.

I received this call at 16:50 , she claimed that my computer is something something and dispute something something......Indian accent.....no idea what she is talking aobut:P

I have received calls from two different numbers. At first I lied and said I was a computer tech and would check this out for myself. They kept talking and I hung up. After the third or forth call in less the a month I got out my referee whistle. Somewhere someones ear is ringing.   Freaks

These jerks.  Called me last week under different phone numbers.  Now they're calling me from this number.  What area code is this anyway? I'm in Alberta, Canada.  Seriously, if I ever find out who these people are, they will be sorry.  I'm tired of these crap calls.  I answered after one ring and they hung up.

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

Also got call again claiming he's from Microsoft and had received reports last few weeks that my computer is corrupted and if I turn on the computer, he can help fix it.  When asked, he said he's calling from California.  I just said I don't need it and hang up.  How do you block these ones??

If they say they are from Microsoft, then it is a scam. Hang up on them. I got scammed by them last year. I had to take my PC into repair shop and get O/S reinstalled after they got done with it.

Receiving calls at four in the morning from a live person saying "Hello this is John from the Microsoft Service Center"
