It's a phishing site that will probably also install malware or spyware on your system.

The text message I received actually came from 985-201-4155. However, the text message claimed that if I went to Target Prizes.com, within 24 hours, I would also receive a $1,000.00 gift card from Target. In addition, when I tried to go to this website, my computer warned me that the website would not be safe to go to & that it contained Malware.

this is spam....report it to the FBI at 7726...they will text back asking for this phone number in reply.

scam.called @440 in the morning and woke me up!  hate having a carrot dangled in front of you when you are at a point in your life that you could really use the help

Your cell phone provider will then forward you instructions or where to get them to block this text and number for future purposes

If you get another one of these - or you can still send a text and then send them the phone number - it forwards on complaints against these people.

Thanks for the info ~ I sent the Text and I got the msg back asking for the offending phone number.  It worked ~ Thanks Much!!!!!

got this text at 12:14 pm on 11/14/12:  "Your entry last month has WON! Go to http://TargetPrizes.com/ and enter code 4787 to claim your FREE  $1000 Target Gift Card within 24 hours!"  There has got to be a way to block this crap.  Anyone know?

Got this text at 3:54AM but didn't see until later.  However, figured it was a scam and have deleted from phone.  Too bad it counts on my text messages.

I received a txt msg from (985) 201-4075 at 3am this morning also, stating that I had a $1000 Target giftcard. I knew right away it was a scam.

Received "Your entry last month has WON! Go to http://TargetPrizes.com/ and enter code 4787 to claim FREE $1000 tARGET gIFT cARD WITHIN 24 HOURS! "message ON 11/11/12, 12;22 AM midnight on Monday from 985-201-4075. I hope this person realizes he is doing wrong

Also received the "You won - Target" text message this morning. Reporting to Verizon this afternoon.

I got this text today. I didn't  reply since we don't have a target store close by. I knew it was a scam also.

I got a text message saying" entry last month has won a $1,000 Target gift card. Go to http:/TargetPrizes.com and enter code 4787 to claim free $1000 target gift card." I knew it was a scam. By the way, if you go on the website you can enter any "code" and it will still be valid.
