Got same text. Called it. Prompt asked for my card number. I entered 1234123412341234. Asked for pin so I entered 1234. Number on back of card so to keep it going I entered 123. Prompt said to enter expiration date so I did, 1234. Then it let me know my card was activated lol. Such a scam to pull info from people.

The reason the text is ONLY giving you the first 4-8 digits is because everyone's debit card all starts with those digits.
| Omni 2013-04-13 22:49:24 Unknown |
It is a scam through Verizon Wireless and AT&T. Do not respond to these messages. If you have, call the number on the back of your card to shut it down immediatly

Called OmniAmerica & they said that text isn't from them - don't call. The call person I spoke with didn't really know what to do with the information I was giving him, but the Bank is closed, so he was all I could get. Hopefully they will be able do something.

Interesting that so many of us got the same message at about the same time. I received the exact same message as SL - which means that we must have the same CC account! Not. And I note that the sending number is different from the number they tell you to call. I smell a scam...
