Prank Call
Recieved a phone call this morning from a man named Dave White who said he was working through the ups Publishers Clearing house. It was my lucky day I won 2.5 million dollars! It was because I paided my bills on time. I told him I didn't believe him and he said, " Why would I call someone just to mess with their heads like that?" He asked me a series of questions, like am I a u.s citizen? am I over 35? Is this my phone number? And how far do I live from walmart?!  He then told me that I need to leave my job within 44minutes to go claim my delivery card from walmart. Even went though the trouble of giving me am ID number a cashiers check number And an activation number. But I had to pay $90 to recieve it.            Reporting a scam call takes forms and long phone waits for the FTC. But you can call and easiley get but on the national "no call" list at 8773824357.   Btw when i called his number back it was also from jamaica, He didn't even sound jamaican?! SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Prank Call
My mom got the call this week (March 2013.)  She is 89 years old.  He said his name was John Green, a Christian and was telling the truth.  She had won mega bucks and a convertible limbergenie with 2 years of insurance on it.  Did she want it delivered private or public.  After personal questions on how much money she had in bank and credit card questions, he said she had to send $350 from bank or go to Wal Mart and get dot card to send.  She still thinks she won.  I called PCH and they said, like I told her, never send out money.  He has kept calling and calling, begging her and telling her it is the truth.

Prank Call
Just received a call from a guy identifying himself as John Green an agent for PCH. He said my mother had won $ 2.5 million; when I told him she was unavailable he said she could call him back.  The number he gave (585) 444-6484 but he paused between giving out the area code and again after the prefix as if he was looking up a good number to give to me.  He also stated to ask for him personally as no one else could help my mother claim her prize.

People will never give up on trying to get over on others!!!

I just received a call from John Walker with the Publisher's Clearing House saying that I've won $955,000 and a cash prize for $5000 weekly and a Pearl White 2012 Mercedes Benz.  He then asked what time was convenient for delivery.  After this he wanted me to go to Wal-Mart and pay a $95 fee in order to confirm my delivery.  I advised John Walker to never call me again with this non sense.  I asked if him "If I've won a prize why am I paying you"?  He would never answer, so I quickly hung up the phone.  I also notices that he called from 876-897-7477, which said Jamaica.  Then he wanted me to call back on 876-261-2718 when I was ready for delivery.  SCAM!!!

Caller claimed to be Publishers Clearing House.  Got upset when I told him I was recording the call for security resons.  Told me I was 65 and acting like a 5 year old.  Very rude on the phone.  I finally got tired of playing with him, told him not to call again and hung up.  This is a scam.  Do NOT give any personal information.

80-year old woman who lives in the Tacoma, WA area, received a call from this number and the scammer stated he was from PCH and then Global International.  He stated the lady and her husband (who died 6 years ago) won $350,000.  Fortunately, this lady is sharp enough to realize this was a scam.

Do not deal with these people!  Please let your friends and elderly family members know not to call.  I just called Publishers Clearing House (number on line) they said they will always just show up at your door.  They never call in advance.

A 67 year old man in Tuscaloosa, AL received a call from John Green with Publishers Clearning House yesterday (02-13-2012).  John convinced him he'd won money.  This is a man that would never consider paying except in person, or give any information to anyone he didn't know.  This man knew information he shouldn't have known about the older man.  He finally talked the Tuscaloosa man out of his social security number and the BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION.  When I received a call this morning and called the 985-276-3291 number the man cursed me out after telling me he had a good conversation with the older man and did not get his social security number.  This is a scam.  The bank manager said they are seeing this everywhere.  Please be advised to notify your loved ones to not give out information to anyone over the phone.

I received a call from this number. He first said his name was John Clark. Told him I could not hear him very well, so then he called from a different number 973-619-6849. He told me I won $3.5 million From Publishers Clearing House . He put his CEO on the phone (Bill Walker) who asked if I wanted a public delivery or private delivery. That it would have the car delivered by UPS and the cash delivered by Brinks & accompanied by FBI agents. He then said he would put the agent back on the phone but this time he said his name was Mr. Bill . There was static on the phone so he said let me call you right back - he did but from a different number again this time the call came from 876-573-1720. Wanted to know my bank account information & if I owned any stocks or bonds so they could process my registration fee. Kept reassuring me it was on the up and up but during the conversations his name changed several times (John Clark, David White, Bill Walker, Mr. Bill, John Walker). He said he was located in Alaska - later he said New Jersey. I claimed someone was at my door I needed to answer it. He asked me to keep this all confidential and he would call me back shortly. ITS A SCAM!!!
