I had a bunch of calls from them on my caller ID, they had never left a message. Today I took the call, and they were selling extended car insurance.

They call at least once a week...I never answer. They never leave a message

The call came thru as "Private Name" and then they hung up when I didn't answer. But this party kept calling back to my phone number so I tried to answer to cut them off but a recording kept playing "we want to speak to someone" and the party on the other end would not disconnect the phone. The company knows who they are and are reading these messages.

Called at 6:55pm, I didn't say a word and waited for a pause. Suddenly a voice appeared (typical marketing or computer dialing call center) and...
1. A young man asked: "Is this 'my first name'"
2. I said: "Yes", then
3. He said: "Hi my name is Alex Smith" and hung up....!
Weird that someone would call me, known my name and then hang up. I don't know anyone is Louisiana.

I got a call today from that number. They new which vehicle I drove and also told me I was out of warranty. Then asked me how many miles were on it. I was transferred to someone that said "if the price is right would you like to extend the warranty today?" at that time I got off the phone. When I asked the original caller what company they were calling me from he said the "Vehicle processing center for mercury and ford" Somehow this guy must think I'm a sucker.

Call was scrambled and relatively unitelligible. I hung up. Caller ID showed 'Liberty'

Called 7 times within 2 days. Finally got to talk to them this morning. They are selling extended auto warranties. Caller ID shows FIA Card Services which has a ton of complaints for rip-offs and scams. FIA Card Services apparently is affiliated with bank of America so rip-offs is not at all surprising here but why are they now selling auto warranties? Were not able to scam enough from card services? If you try to call the number back, there is a short message that is unintelligable.

It showed FIA Card Service on caller ID. I did answer the phone. They're selling car warranties. I told them I'm not interested and and asked that they take me off their list. They haven't called in a week.
