I got the same message.  They knew my name and said "yo _______! you available?".

I just got the exact same message as tumbleweed...

I am using comodo av on my phone, it has sms and phone spam features. I just added the phone number to my blacklist. I noticed that this same spam message appears from other phone numbers so i've added portions of the spam text to the blacklist too... Just fyi for you guys if the spam doesnt stop theres a way to manage it on your phone.

I'll be calling my cell provider to see what they can do about it as well.

I responded to the text and the person texted back with:

"my friend gave me your number my name is adina sorry im a little buzzed right now feeling dirty and thinking about getting on cam.  dont show anyone else http://adinascamchat.com visit there sign up and accept my invite to watch me - my batt is going to die right away."

Whichever company is doing this needs should be reported!! >_<

Who the 'ell is this person / organization?

"good day Joe! you available?" was the text. Nonsense to me.

just got a text from this number that said "yo {name} you available" - sun 7am eastern.

I got a text from this number that knew my name and asked if I was around. I don't know anyone in New Orleans.
