They called my house from (985) 656-2926 and (780) -643-3535 claiming there was something wrong with my computer. Obviously a scam, not surprised to hear there are others. Cheap and selfish low lives. Next time they call, I'll give them a piece of my mind!

just received a call from a person trying to access my computer at home. Do not fall for it - SCAM - Claims to be with Shaw Communication and is not.

They called at 11 am on a Saturday. The caller ID said LOUISIANA. Left no message, then called again five minutes later! Again they hung up without leaving a message. Thank you, everyone, for your comments.

I told this clown that my PC was at the Calgary police. Told him to call there.

he asked if I was an idiot. Told him to f**c away.

We have received MANY calls from this scammer.  Usually it's "Alex" saying he is from Windows and my computer needs repair. The latest woke us up at 5:10 am this morning!  I've told them to take us off their list and, of course, they don't.  Is there any way to get these people to stop?  Is there anywhere we can report this obnoxious harassment?

I've felt left out since I'm one of the few folks I know in who have never been called by the windows scammers.  At  about 11PM tonight my luck changed.  Idiots woke up my wife and disturbed my watching the end of a television show.  So I decided to have some fun with them.  

Claimed he was from windows and my computer was downloading malware from my IP.  I know the scam so I played along and acted "dumb".  Caller was clearly Indian and clearly reading from a script.  I could hardly understand what he was saying other than instructing me to hit the control key.  I pretended to panic and said my computer had a red virus alert screen saying SHILLKILL and wouldn't respond to any action. I repeated this about a dozen times and he is still telling me to hit the control key.  I just hung up finally since he was to stupid to bait.

Ten minutes of my life I won't get back.

They called me this morning.

Unfortunately for them my Windows is in french!!!!!

I'm so tired of getting calls that are telemarketers.  Hopefully there will come a day when we can 100 percent block them out!!  Agreed?!

I received a call at 10 AM from 985-656-2926, female with  accent - ? India, stated she was from Windows Technical
Support & they were receiving error messages from my computer which they could fix. When I asked how it was
possible that they could have this information they claimed they had the registration number from the purchase which
I knew was a scam. I informed them that the computer was a gift so they would never have received my name and phone
number.
These calls have continued since last year, different phone numbers, same scam.

I just got that call 15 minutes ago. I screwed with them... royally. I played along, then after I had him on the phone for 5 minutes thanking him for wanting to fix my computer, I railed him a new one. I went on and on with ' how stupid do you think us americans are?' I let him have it in every way, shape and form. the idiot even proceeded to tell me that him pulling a 'scam' is my opinion. I went on and on. When I said "I'm from Boston, my friend... we know how this all works, we're smarter and stronger than you", he hung up. A**.

These ignorant a**les just called and woke my whole family up.  When I answered the phone there was a lot of people in the background and the moron on the other end of the line was laughing as she said "how are you today ma'am?"  She also sounded Indian.  I snapped and said "are you kidding me?  Calling my house at 11:15 pm?!!"  She hung up on me and I really hope she calls back tomorrow!

Called at 9:30 pm Pacific time. I didn't answer, I never answer calls from unknown callers. Kind of late for a telemarketer or scammer. Just don't answer these calls.

Wanted me to download something on my computer. Spoke broken English and gave bogus call  back number. This isn't the first time they have bothered me.

Received a call from this number. accent sounded Indian. When asked where they were called from they claimed Brooklyn NY. There were a lot people speaking in the background. Sounds like a typical boiler room operation. They claimed to be calling from Windows Technical Support. When asked which machine was the problem they could not answer the question other than to say it was coming from my IP address. When asked what my IP address was they hung up. SCAM! let me say this again SCAM!

Their call woke me at 6:50 am asking about my computer. I hung up on them but they called again at 7:08 am.

They called 4 times in the last two days....9:30 at night...8:00 in the morning...F'n scammers...will not respond to my questions...
Had this same deal about 6 months ago...

This number just called us at 7.30 a.m pretending to be from a technical services department, regarding my computer.

They called me after 9pm EST about my computer.  They didn't sound American. I hung up on them before they could finish.  Trying to scam people, that's low.
