Hanging up on you when they get a tough question is obviously their strong suit. I experienced the same thing. Definitely a SCAM. Apparenlty they don't care about the do not call list.

Got a call from this number at 12:23 PM today. Caller ID just showed the number again. Didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message. Gotta learn how to block calls!!

recieved a call today and when asked were did you get this phone number they of course they hung up I tried to call them back but call wouldn't go thru. What type of a scsm is this?????????????

March 15, 2011, 11:11 a.m.. Received a call from 987-000-5521, showed as Name Unavailable on caller ID. Listened to the automated message which stated that my credit card interest rate would be increasing and that I MIGHT be eligible for a reduced interest rate and if I wanted to know more about this to press "9" at the end of the message. When I did not press "9", the call automatically ended.

Got this call number 987-000-5521 on my caller i.d. March 8, 2011 at 11:44 a.m. No message, I do not know who this is. I added to my blocked list as well.
