We are a business, they asked for the owner. I said they are out, can I help you? They asked when he would be in, I said I don't know and they confirmed his first name and then said thank you and hung up.  I blocked their calls to avoid future nuisance.

Just received voice mail from this number saying they were Consumers Energy and "someone" called them with a question. I don't think that is who they are. They gave me a 800 541 2341 number to return call. The 800 number seems to be fake when I try to find it.

just googled the name, and called 9894601724, they answer the phone there!!!  Confirmed they are associated with the same number that has been calling, as well as the cook book and cancer calls... they buy their numbers from salesgenie...

Same as the rest, only i'm no where near the Bay area...annoying

I received the calls all last week old lady selling cookbooks that a lil girl with cancer collected recipes  from nurses and Dr.s while going thru treatment and made a cookbook. Well today 27 times I AM DONE!!!! You call they hang up or it is just busy..........sad and harassing.....

Had a call from this elderly lady today.  said they would be in the neighborhood selling cook books for a little girl that had cancer.

We received a call from this number and a female at this number was looking for money to help a child in need.  When we said that we do not respond to any such requests over the phone, she immediately hung up.  Sounds like a scam.

The phone rings and when we pick up they hang up/

989-316-2348 I think I've had this number call me before.  By the time I got to the phone, they hung up.  When I called back, they didn't pick up.  I guess it wasn't that important.  However, I filed a complaint on the DNC registry because my phone has been on that list for over 2 years.  I have family in the 989 area so I was concerned who it was. There is a lady from the 989 area, really rude too, trying to sell cookbooks.  She's about in her 60-70's.  I wouldn't put it past it for this number to be her cookbook club at it again.

They call when I'm at work, and I live alone, so initially I was concerned it was criminals casing my house.  

Now it seems they're just criminals disobeying the FCC and no call list.

Any idea who could call from this phone number.

They just hang up on us when we've tried to call them back.  Otherwise... same here, phone pests I guess?  We're thinking of changing our number Again and "paying" to have it Not Published.  Hmmmm... makes me wonder if it isn't the phone companies trying to squeeze another buck or two out of everyone as if we don't pay through the nose already and for what a new type of unwanted telemarketing?

Just got a hang up from that same number. I called back and it was busy. I kept calling until someone answered. When they answered, I heard them dial 11 digits and hang up. I kept calling and each time after, they would pick up, press one number, and hang up. Not sure if its a kid screwing with the phone, but I intend to keep dialing them until they talk. The call ID says its from Bay City Michigan. Not too far from where I live. Kind of hoping someone gets tough with me and gives me an address. :)
