That number has tried to call me four times during the last week. I have caller ID, when I see that number, I flip it over to fax receive and all they get is the screetching noise from the fax trying to make contact.
I do that for all numbers not recognized or that I know are not for me.
Based on what was said above, I am assuming its the same SEMCO Marketers.
Auburn Michigan is the source according to caller ID.

They have been harassing us as well.  My wife asked for them to mail us information and the man started yelling at my wife.

I was called by 989.662.8720 the guy asked to speak to whoever handles the natural gas bill. Then asked me if I use Semco, Michigan Gas or Consumer Energy. I asked him if I could know the reason for him asking he replied " I can't tell you until you answer my question. He became irritated because I wouldn't tell him which company supplies our natural gas. He said he was just trying to help me out. Then he hung up on me. I then recalled the phone number just to hear I was the next call to be answered for 10 minutes. Then they disconnected the line.

So I decided to call them, its another company that wants you to change your gas service to a lower payment something or another. She talked so darn fast was hard to understand her. I asked her to remove me from the list.

Apparently they also have caller ID as she rattled off my phone number to me, and I didnt give it to her, so hopefully she will remove the number

This number calls me regularly, caller ID ionly says says Auburn, Mi

Everytime I answer there is never anyone there

they just keep calling week after week   3 or 4 times aday who has time for this I can give them your number
wish I had a night time number for them like give them a phone call every 15 mins all week long

They call me nonstop after being told not to call me again.  How do we report this?  Ridiculous.  It's a natural gas scam is what it is.  It's free they say?  Nothing is free!

800 # you listed wouldn't even take my complaint. He told me the only thing I could do is call the Atty General Office. He was actually a little rude on the phone.

I also talked to REALGY myself and told them I had asked to get my number off their list many times before.  He said they only take it off for 1 MONTH!!!!!

Thie company is legit as far as they will change your supplier from SEMCO, my supplier, to actually it will still be SEMCO, but REALGY ENERGY SERVICES will make a small profit off of your account.  You all need to file a complaint to the MTFC here in Michigan:  1-800-292-9555.  They are not super reactive, but they will contact REALGY and get your number off of the list.  The MTFC appears to be well aware of this company as I did not even need to give them the number.  So I don't know if it will help to even file a complaint, but I did anyway.  I did ask the man if after they call and get my name taken off and REALGY still calls me, what next?  He said to call the Attorney Generals Office in Lansing, which I will do.  Or I will call the New Channel locally and get them involved!

Keep getting phone calls from this number.  No company name just Auburn, Mich.  They do not leave a message or when answered they hang up.   I am on the do not call list and resent this kind of phone call

This is a caller wanting you to switch gas companies.  I told them I wasn't interested but they are still calling about once a day.  I answer hoping to get someone so I can ask to be removed from their call list, but no one ever replies when I answer the phone.  Really annoying.

It's Realgy Energy Services, Their customer service number is 860-233-2270.  They are attempting to do something like slamming, but with your electric or gas utility.  If they can get you to say anything that sounds vaguely like you are agreeing with them, they will switch your utility service to them and use the recording from the call to justify it.  Email their director of sales, Matt Sudowski, at matts@realgy.com and let him know what you think of their business practices.

I keep getting these calls too. I did answer one and they started telling me about switching gas, I told them I wasn't interested and hung up.  Still get the calls, but leaving the answering machine get it, and they hang up

This number appears on my phone 3-4 times a day.  They never leave a message and I want them to stop!
How can I block their calls?

Actually SEMCO is still functioning in SE Michigan.  They would never call and not leave a message.  I too have been getting calls from this number, but I check my I.D. first and if I don't know who it is, I don't answer.  Since they do not leave a message, I figure it is telemarketing or a scam.  We are on the do not call list too......funny that we get more calls now than ever before.

Called again this morning. QUIT CALLING!!!!!!!

9896628720 has called me several times even though i have ask them not to call.  i'm on the so called do not call list which does not do a thing or protect the consumer from junk calls/unwanted calls.  9896628720, 8082169287 are just a few numbers that call on a daily basis.

These people just keep calling ever oather day they do not answer ther phone Number it is a big Waste of time

I forgot the name of this company I talked to the worker and checked out their web site.. they want to supply my natural gas as a discount yet SEMCO would still be delivering it to me so I would end up with two bill for gas a month not one.. one from SEMCO  and one from the Gas co\op but the savings would be so small it would be eaten up by all the service charges by the two companies.. I don't know how legit they are but that is what I know about them.

actually SEMCO is former Michigan Gas Co and they provide natural gas in SW Michigan

The phone number above has called twice in the last couple of weeks.  When I answer they hand up.

I keep receiving phone calls from this number using up my valuable cell phone minutes.  I try to contact them to get them off of their call list & they do not answer the phone.  I am kept on hold.

Incompetent collections agency.  They are calling my business' phone to collect on a debt for a person who never worked here.  They think that my business' number is a residential number.
