I received a call at 7 a.m. Since I was a legal telemarketer a few years ago and knew it was illegal to call someone before 9 a.m.The person told me to F**k of and I was wasting their time! Really? It was 7 a.m. And I wasting their time. The caller ID  was 17054702447.

They phoned here this AM at 8:10.  Caller id Showed WINDOWS from 990-900-0100.  Asked about my computer and I stated that I don't have one and they hung up.  Guess I was lucky, they didn't insult me.  That is my standard answer to these idiots and so far it has cut down on the number of these prank calls.

I received a call at 6:21 a.m. from 1-990-900-0100.  My number is unlisted so how did they get it?  They left no message and I was unable to call back, just get a recording that I am unable to call this number.

Got a call from these sh*theads at 8:15 am (North America Eastern Time) this morning.  My wife was kinda groggy and briefly answered the call, (she was up earlier than I, lol), but she hung up after she determined there was a delay in receiving a response and the telltale "click" before a human being (?) comes on the line.  Asshats. (At least they got me out of bed though?lol.)

I too got a call from this number.  The man told me that my computer had downloaded some spam and that if I did what he told me, that he could get rid of it.  I thanked him for the info and told him that I would take my computer to my local "computer weenie" and get it looked at hung up.  I have heard of this before, so it was no surprise.  

On my caller ID it said BMO haha. We didn't bother to answer it since no one here has BMO accounts. Call came at 7:30am Newfoundland time. Figured it would be these guys or a credit card phisher.

Said BMO on the caller ID yet no one here is with that bank so went unanswered. Looked on BMO website they have no such number listed. Also noted the time of 7:30am being unusual.

We got a call from this number this morning; they said Microsoft told them our computer needed attention. We told them it was a scam and hung up. The call display showed the number (990-900-0100) and said it was an unknown number. We live in Vernon, BC

Just got one of these calls from "Windows" in Clearwater Florida.  Same number, same echo, same accent.  Demanded why I ignored his email messages about my computer threat.  I told him windows would never call me, this is a fraud call and I was calling the police.  He told me "go to hell then" and hung up.  Boy oh boy did I grin.  I did report it to the local police.  Think I will invest in a WHISTLE!

Call displayed showed call was 1-709-237-7486.

Received a call from this number at 4:00 a.m. this morning.  He started talking about my computer.  I yelled it was 4:00 in the morning.  He stated who else was I expecting to be calling.  I hung up.  He called back to ask why I hung up on him.  I hung up again.  Bad enough getting calls in the day time but now in the middle of the night.  Might buy a whistle.  Ha ha

they want me to go on the computer to fix error messages

I received a call from this number.  The man said he was calling from Windows.  He had an accent and was asking me who was using my computer because it was sending them messages.  I told him I didn't have a computer so he said it must be coming from my laptop.  I told him I didn't have a laptop either.  He said someone must be in my house and I might be in need of help.  I stayed silent and he hung up.  Also when I was talking to him, my voice would echo my responses.  I could actually hear myself answering after I had responded.

I got a call from 990-900-0100 this am (9).  I didn't answer as the call id was 125489654, and it looked suspicious.  Glad I didn't answer, since I've read these comments.

These are hackers saying they are from Microsoft or some other computer company and they want your computer codes. Just ask for their telephone number so that you can call them back. You will see how fast they hang up!
