This number has called 6x today, 3x in one hour. Answered once lady with a heavy India accent stated they are receiving several alarming and disturbing messages from my email. She had to repeat herself twice before I understood her. I told her yeah right this is scam and hung up. 15 minutes later they started calling again.

I have received two calls today from this number  #999-910-0238

Definitely not legit. Legit companies use real numbers as per federal law

Lol they called me,All you have to do is just but a spoon and a pan up to the phone bang it real hard and they won't get off!! So annoying!!

Sick response and thoroughly offensive. Sickness reigns: LOL and KKK in the same string. Yuck!

Lying son's of Bi****s ... called me about my microsoft windows computer. . I OWN A MAC, i told him to F-off and never call me again.

I received 4 calls on 4-30-2013 from 1-(999)-910-0122 from someone with a difficult-to-understand foreign voice claiming that they work for MICROSOFT & that they detected a virus on my computer. I could barely decifer what they were saying, and asked how they knew anything about my computer. I specifically asked them if they actually work directly for Microsoft and they said yes.
They asked me to turn on my computer, press & hold the CTRL (control) button & the Microsoft button. I told him that Microsoft does not call people to take control of the public's computers and they hung up. They called me again later that evening & insisted they work for MICROSOFT & if I didn't do this, my computer would have viruses and would crash!
This is about the 3rd time I have received these calls since the past 6 mos. I'm sure MICROSOFT is aware of it, but pssibly can't do anything about it. However, unsuspecting consumers who are actually experiencing  problems with their computers might think that this could be a legitimate call since "reports' are sent out to Microsoft for errors, etc. (This includes some elderly people who are just learning how to use computers).
Perhaps a PSA (Public Service Announcement) could be issued on TV or on local TV-News stations everywhere about these scams.

Phony number that keeps calling

I answer with FBI Computer Crime Division and they hang up.  :-(  They just don't want to play.

Also received several calls from an Indian man with the same story.  On the third call I answered and said "stop calling or I will report you to our attorney genera" and then I hung up.  However, he called back several times again in a row.  We are also on the do not call list and what good does it do?  Think I am going to do the whistle!!

I do not answer, answering machine records only a lot of jarble.

I have no idea who these people are but they have been calling 3-4 times a day since wednesday. I need this to stop! NOW!

I have just about totally eliminated these dumb calls. I have MagicJack and a plugin called MagicFeatures. It allows me to block numbers, it actually sends the call to a message "This number has been disconnected". Not a plug for MagicJack or the MagicFeatures plugin. It works for me and others might like it. I just got tired of all the scammers out there. Now, they can call me once, I can play with them and ask them to call me back tomorrow. And they are gone forever. Had an alarm company that still calls 4-5 times a week. They are not very smart, actually it shows they are using a robot dialer and never listen to the call to see that the number is gone. You do see that the number called you but your phone never rings, just shown in the inbound call list.

Same thing just happened to us today

They still call, but once I say hello they hang up.  I just use them for a Dear Abby start crying and tell them how ruff my day was.  Sometimes I breath heavy for them.  I don't think they like it, but they still call me.  Just won't talk to me lmbo

This number called 6x today. A man with a heavy accent called saying that he was from Microsoft (when clearly he was a scammer) and that our computer had sent error reports. It's very frustrating and I wish they would just stop trying to take advantage of people.

Report it to the police. This is EXACTLY the info they are looking for to track new black crime on the Internet. Seriously.

my call also referred to windows operating problem they would fix.  problem is i do have a operating system problem on one of my computers and i wonder if this nbr 999-910-0353 caused the problem or if it is legit. the man insisited i had a problem and when i asked how  he knew he just insisted i turn on my computer and he wd show me how to fix it. i intend to follow up with microsoft if i can find legit phone number.

This number was calling 4 times a day asking for Linda. I would answer the phone and say this is Linda and as soon as I heard a India accent I would say "Hey P***, what's going on in Karachi? The ragheads from India don't like being called P***'s and would curse me and hang up.

Same number has called me three times today.  I answered the second time and I asked the Indian voice how he could prove to me that he was from Microsoft.  He hung up but about an hour later I got another call from the same number. I'm glad I didn't fall for the scam- I am so trusting.

My phone rings with this number appearing in the Caller ID window.  It has the note "Name Unavailable" which tells me not to bother answering the call.  When I do, though, there is no one there willing to talk to me.  Complete silence.

Exact same thing.  Told them I will forward them to FCC.  It was 999-910-0157.

Pls dont call me again

Called 3 times in the same day after I had already told them to remove my number from there database.

WOW - same thing happening in 2013!  Call after call - can't block it.
