who is this calling me every 20 minutes

he is my friend. he is lost. i got a call last night from this number from him but cudnt talk more

I have been getting these calls also, but I never answer. I was doing a Google search to find out who they were and ran into this thread. I am curious now, and will probably answer. It will be fun, and I think I can give them a run for their money....

I also just recieved this phone call years after it started. I called BS on it and the Indian/Pakistani gentlemen hung up immediately. The phone number is also a 105 area code. The number was 1-105-277-2106. You cannot call the number back. And doing an internet search brings up absolutely nothing. Who are these goons. Contact me at: revolution84@hotmail.com.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER-BUT COULDN'T REDAIL-I DON'G DON'T KNOW WHOM OR WHY!!

Received call 7-17-9 8PM only showed on my caller ID 05-247-9749. heavy accent said you are having problems with your Microsoft computer. I told them know and asked why they pretty much repeated the same statement and I hung up.

we got this call asking us to turn on our computer.MY Husband just hung up !That night our house was broken into and several cars were broken into along with smashed cars and mailboxes. Thursday, someone down the street was robbed of jewery. I feel very
violated since Iwas asleep in the attached living room. Please help me if you know who this is.Our whole community has been touched in some way.Where are these people from? Is this all related?yes that don't speak very much English,

we received a call about our computer having a problem. I asked how they knew we had aproblem and got the run around when I asked how they were able to get into my system they hung up.
The number was 05-247-9749. I would like to know how they got our phone number

I've gotten a call from this number 3 times today (spoke to someone only once though) and once the other day. They said they were calling about a problem with my computer and I laughed at them and asked what kind of computer I had. They said that they would ask questions to determine the type and the problem. I laughed at them and told them that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Same Call, Same response. Wow, these guys are wicked. I am sure some people are falling for this....My wife thought that it was a callback from microsoft and that I had called them....

Got the same call from this number today, Dec 1 2009 - had me go into my system and look at some settings, then launched into a spiel which I guessed would lead to an offer to sell me some utility software to 'fix' my computer. I hung up, and he called back twice, but I let it ring.

He claimed they were from some company like "CompTech" or the like and were helping Windows users with their problems. I said I didn't have any problems with my computer, but he kept plowing ahead.

My guess: scam software/service sellers; someone suggested cheap overseas labor combined with internet telephone = the new boilerroom operation.

So where is the 105 area code from? Which country?

Got a call from the same group. I hung up on them and they tried calling back twice, my wife and I ignored the calls.  After reading everyone else's experience this leaves you with an uncomfortable feeling.

No they are trying to get around the do not call list by implying that you contacted them first in regards to having problems with your PC.

Which of course you are not - so its still a lie

Rec'd a call from a guy with obviously heavy Indian accent saying that I had been having trouble with my computer.  He knew my name.  I said "I am not having ANY trouble with my computer" and he said "Are you sure?"  and I said "yes", and hung up.

I guess they get around the Do Not Call regulations by calling from overseas.

So they call asking me how my computer is working - they knew my name - this is not a company I have every worked with before and they admitted this was a cold call after they acted like they had already serviced my machine.  I'm sure the call was coming from overseas in India.

Obviuosly, these people could be ID Thieves as well if they gain access to the computer of the people they are calling
