They called me and told there was a problem with my computer. They couldn't give me a sensible explanation of how they would know that or my phone number they just insisted it was a Windows problem.

So I kept him on the line for a bit then he wants me to do Windows R. So I said why don't you direct me to the Microsoft support page that describes the problem I'm having.

He hung up. LOL. Prick.

Hi all, yep I signed up with comantra and paid $399.99 and got ripped off for that amount.  Then someone else called saying that they were from Comantra, but then told me to press windows key and the R key at the same time,  I did this and up came (log me in) the techo then gave me a code number, wich I entered and he took remote controll over my PC and fixed my PC.

It seems to me there are Comantra rip off and Comantra rige dige.   After my PC was hacked and I lost all my excel,word doc's, and every thing else was corrupted, Comantra tried every thing, and lastly burnt a win7 disk for me I installed it and my computer is back to new.  Pity I lost all my files, but I did end up with a $300+ Windows disk, and these guy's worked on my PC for 50+  hours. I would reccomend these guy's to anyone I also have all their names.

CoMantra are a bunch of Bengali chancers who cold call you, tell you extreme lies about your computer's health even though they have no info whatsoever on your computer, and then will try to steal money from you by saying they can use logmein to fix the problem, after a charge.
If you give them the time of day or your credir card details, you deserve all you get.  Of course, Karma will get them in the end :-)
