my husband rcved a call on his cell. i was never connected to this # and a man from 201-209-1654 asked for me . my husband stated who is this and the man hung up. my husb. was so upset he called the # back and always got mail box is full. then later that day it happened again. and he hung up on my husband again. i tried 2 more times the next day and rcved the same recording mail box is full. i then googled it and found all this info . i also looked rev. # lookup and stated belonged to a alfred a. in new jersey, i am also from the midwest, and do not know anyone in new jersey.  i did report it to our states scam office. its not a collection comp. as they legal. have to ident. the company they are calling from. i am a collect. for a small comp. i know the law. anyone hears more please let me know.  annoyed 2

I am getting calls from this number almost hourly today. When answered there is no one there & then it goes to busy signal & disconnect. I tried to call back & get busy signal.  Someone has too much time on their hands!

SCAM they just trying to get your voice recorded and to verify the tele # . most likely address also.somthing should be done some how withthe spoofed phone #s  they are putting in dead # so we cannot sue them to know who they are. tracking our digital fingerprint

called several times and no msg then called and ask for me by name and it was about my visa and mastercard but nothing was wrong and i said had no card and she hung up instantly probly spoffed telephone # cannot call it back, this should be illegal for them to show a dead # or fake # when they call you. WATCH OUT SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep me too. Call 4 times in 2 hours. Hung up and when I call back the voice mail is full. Listed as Jersey City and Elmhurst NY.  I think he's a pimp and a thief scam person.

thank you for this web site.. I too have been getting 4-5 calls a day. The calls started 3 or 4 days ago. I havent been answering because I dont recognize the area code or the number. I did an area code search first. It is very odd that someone from NJ. is calling me so many times, I live in the upper mid west and have no connection to Jersey.Today I made the mistake of accidently hitting the answer button reaching for my cell. I hung up with out listening to the reciever and the phone calls nearly doubled. I was going to call the number but thanks to this site I now know this is a scam. I guess I will ride the storm out and let this freak give up. I did a reverse phone number look-up and according to 2 reverse phone number sites, this number belongs to a Alfred Alkes, Elmhurst, NJ. Hope the @ssole gets his soon. Karma is a biotch.

Receiving calls from this number daily & sometimes more than once a day.  I have not picked up & no message is left but I want the calls to stop!

I am SICK, SICK, SICK of these jerks.  They call every day and every day I tell them NOT to call again.  We are on the DO NOT CALL list and they don't listen to anything.  It's something about Mastercard and I don't even have one.

201-209-1654  receiving calls daily from this #  I too am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY  Am willing to press charges for harrasment, as these calls are crossing state lines and should be under FCC guidelines, correct?

This caller called me when i was at home one night i didnt answe cuase my phone was upstairs but then i called it back but went to a full mail box im worried it might call me back

This person has called me for a week straight. Whenever I pick up, they hang up.  I try to call back and get a full mailbox msg. No idea what is going on but it needs to stop. Annoying!

Calls me three to four times a day (and into the evenings) Doesn't say a word.

Alkees Alfred is from Jersey city, calling from his home phone asking information about my mastercar.visa card.  He is formerly from Elmhurst Queens and is on facebook listed private.  He intends to scam.

HAVE ANY OF YOU THAT HAVE RECEIVED CALLS FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER (201-209-1654) HAD BANKS CALLING YOU BECAUSE SOMEONE HAS USED YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ATTEMPT TO TAKE OUT A CREDIT CARD?  I don't know, but this could be just one of the ways that scammers try to verify information for such fraudulent applications.  Beware!

This # has been popping up on my cell.  I finally answered it.  The caller (unidentified) was looking for another person that I have no knowledge of.  The caller did not seem to care & just called again.

I received a call from this number and I use my cell phone as my only phone.  I called back and it said the mailbox is full.  Just a tip for all:  I save the number as a contact such as "Bad Number" - then edit it so the call goes straight to voice mail.  After a while--I'll delete the contact.

This number kept calling. They asked me about my balance on my credit cards. I wanted to know more so I answered a few questions. They transfered me to another person who said they would lower my interest rates. I asked them the name of the company, etc. They kept telling me the new law will raise my interest rates but they could get me a fixed rate. But, they wanted my social security number & credit card numbers. I told them if they knew my information already, they should have this. I refused this info and Mr. Anderson raised his voice and kept saying "Mamm" this will never effect you & he needed this info or I would be disqualified. I said no and then hung up as he was continuing to yell at me.

I ignored the call

this number kept calling and  hanging up. They finally asked for ss number so they could get me a GREAT deal on credit card rates. I asked more info to check w  Better Business Bureau, they hung up. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!! IT IS A SCAM!!!!!

This number calls and when I answer it they hang up. When I call back it goes straight to voicemail saying their mailbox is full.

They asked for Denise, I said that I was not that person, they asked this in a very mean manner. I said I have had this phone number for eighteen years. She raised her voice and said " I DONT CARE HOW LONG...at this point I hung up on her.

Ive just started receiving calls from this number today, havent answered and will not answer thanks to everyone that posted here.
