I received a phone call on my cell last week from 717-219-3317. Now, this week it is from 201-283-9597. It must be the same group, since no one has my cell phone number. I think I will change my number.

This number showed up as a missed call (call came about noon) but figure since I didn't recognize it and no message was left it was a telemarketer. I just recieved another call from 202-210-0054. Figured it was also a scam since area codes were close and just rejected the call.

They said that I was made elagible for a $100 Target Gift Card and some other stuff.
They wanted my mailing address and to pay them ~$5 for the shipping - and that they only accepted credit, bank, or pre-paid card
They told me to call back if I changed my mind.
I think we ALL should call them back - LOTS of Times !! 8D

I was the stupidity person and called them back and went through the whole thing. They told me that I had recently purchased something from a catalog or online and they said I won a 100 gift card to Target. I went along with it and the guy who 'verified' me was definitely black and had a thick jersey accent so it was hard to understand. I had to verify my cc like 3 times and then when they hung up, I checked the number here and seeing how its not good, I called my bank and had to immediately get a new card. Lucky they didn't withdraw any money from my account or else I would been in some deep crap. Please don't answer the phone. I need to get on the do not call list registry. Nearly had a heart attack when I found out its a scam.

Just called my cell. I hate nuisance callers calling my cell, especially. It rang twice and stopped. Would not have answered. Very few people have my cell number and I have never posted it on the Internet. Where did they get my number?

Just received a call (no vm) from this number @ 1:19 PM No caller ID just the number The area code is for NJ We live in Phoenix and have no one and no business in NJ Can anyone please explain why all these calls? Who pays the guys that are calling and what's in it for them? In this particular case I see they don't talk with you if you take their call, they don's leave messages so why are they calling? Who are these guys? I am on the DO NOTCALL LIST and reporting it I am sure won't make any difference.
