Interesting that based on your former profession you are apparently provided with a secure phone and number for 25 years. Also interesting that your former career skills don't give you the idea to search google to see that it is indeed a spammer or telemarketer. Sounds like the special dynamite needs to get over themselves.

They've called me three times this week but twice from 216-282-5665 no message left. Stop calling!

The phone company does not have to sell your phone number because these pests just call any 10digit number to talk to anyone.  But the phone company does sell information because information that was only known to the phone company is now posted online and the only place it could have come from is the phone company.

A foreign sounding guy, maybe Asian, says he wants to pay his bill with 'green dot'. I think he is saying he is with 'Asian tech #1"   he says his invoice number is 123456.  He has left several messages but I have never answered the phone.  I have unlisted number and this is not a business number

Had them call me twice today. Once from 201-283-9786 and another from 609-318-6204. I called them back and pressed 2 to have me placed on their do not list for both numbers.

They called at 4:18pm EST. I didn't call back.

Received call today just like other posts. It's a bit unpleasant telemarketing message about
using their home security with yard sign to avert the FBI-reported break ins in my neighborhood.
I will place my number on the donotcall.gov site now. They've called me about 2x per month
for 6 months now.

Call came from Kearney, NJ to Kansas at 12:43 to cell phone. Call not answered and no message left. This was very unusual. I was a former criminal investigator, pretty secure phone and this was only the 3rd trash call I've ever received, and I've had the phone number since 1991. The carrier and I came into the cell world together, when cell phones were about the size of a shoe box.

Trash caller is playing with dynamite. But.... let's assume it was a wrong number.

Called and didnt leave a message but provides an opportunity for you to be removed from their calling list. Not sure what company it was or even what they were trying to sell...

They call every once and a while I want them to stop!

I work for a city government and they won't stop calling us. The Police department is in the building that they are calling. I have pressed "9" to have the company phone number removed from their call list and they continue to call at least three times a week. When I spoke to a young male sales representative I told him that he had called a city government and he hung up on me.

On callback, you get a voice menu. Option 1 is to talk to a CSR. But no, you get a bland VMX message and an offer to leave a message.

A security company wants to put a sign in your yard and offer home security services. Recording always starts with " The FBI reports.....bla bla b***s***" DONT PICK UP the phone when you dont know the caller id. Since i dont answer this call they call less and less. STOP ANSWERING is the solution. The government cant manage the health insurance! Do u think they actually care about the national do not call list?? And they dont check these kinds of websites either!  

Just  got one of their weird calls on my cell, which is registered to DO NOT CALL. Did not answer the phone because I didn't recognize number as being one that I am familiar with.

After some research I see they are telemarketing company and say the FBI has mentioned break-in in your area and offer security systems.
