I received a message 12/3/08 from this number for my ex-husband on my home phone number which was changed when I got divorced five years ago.  When I called back, they answered HDI?

I received the same call asking for debit card info although the number came up as 201-820-3997 same thing though must be linked to this umber as well as when I looked up number it came up with same NJ address.

This number was given on a permit in our town for a political activist comm, actually LaRouche Political Activist Comm.  The phone number is associated with a business at 325 South River Road, Hackensack.  So if you are getting phone calls from that number saying something about your debit card, I would recommend you contact the Hackensack, NJ police dept. or the Bergen County Sheriff's Office (NJ) and report that call. Better safe than sorry (recommend you look up info on LaRouche himself, the founder of this movement, he has had convictions for mail fraud in the past, be careful.

Person called a credit union member stating their debit card was invalid and to validate it they needed the card number, cvv code and pin.  Member was smart enough to hang up.  A financial institution will never contact their member or customer and ask such questions, best course of action is to hang up and report things such as this to authorities or message boards line this one.  Never give out your personal information to anybody that initiates the call.  Just hang up.
When I called this number it was answered by a male saying, "FBI".  I called again and a woman just answered, "Hello".

Never heard of them, etc.  Upsetting!  I'm calling my bank.

Received call at 4:02pm today, didn't recognize area code or number, did not answer.  I live in Sacramento and have AT&T, so it's not regional or restricted to one cell carrier.  Likely they are using a Spoof card http://www.spoofcard.com/ to generate a false phone number to hide their criminal activites.

Got a call about 2 hours ago from this number and I was thinking about calling it back since I missed the call, but now I am guessing it is a scam. They didnt leave a message. I'm in Missouri. Is it just a regional thing?

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago. I immediately Googled it and came to this site. Figured it was a scam. They didn't leave a message.

ITS A SCAM!!! Do not give your information to them!!! this number actually belongs to a company and they said they have recieved thousands of calls today. This number is being hacked through!! The police are on it! They have called every number on my family plan so obviouslt they hacked Sprint or something!!

I got one about my debit card, too.  I hung up.  Not them?  The phone company does not allow spoofing of caller ID.

I called and they answered. The guy says his office is not making the calls but a 3rd party is using their number. I guess anything is possible.

Same as above. My debit card is restricted or some such nonsense. Obvious scam, on my cell no less, eating up my minutes.

Someone from this number call my cell phone and also my wife's cell phone back to back today 4-23-09.  They mentioned something about my debit card being invalid and to reactivate it I must call another number immediately.  I did not write down the number because I immediately suspected it to be a scam.

An automated message saying that their was something wrong with my debit card online and to call them or pless 1 and they could take care of it now

I got a call today from the same number to call from a Lady name Maragret Chaldon.

It's a political call.  They leave a voicemail and ask you to call them back.  The number is registered to Arthur Murphy.  Addresses associated with him are 78 Mt. Vernon St, Ridgefield, NJ 07660, 325 S River St, Hackensack, NJ 07601.  He is also associated with the following businesses, Hamilton System Distributors, Inc. and Global Perspective International Trade LLC.

Same here, left name and number, no explanation. This was a woman caller.

Got a message from someone called Bob. No reason for the call but said I could reach him through the phone number.

I just received the same type of message from the same number on 8/29/08

No details.  Just left a name and a number on my voice mail, used my full name, gave hers and asked me to call her back.  No company name, no referrals, no explanation of the reason for the call.
