This assclown is pulling the same crap, he's been calling with my wife's first name and some bogus file number for six weeks, my whole family thinks it's hilarious and go to great lengths to yank his chain. I think he's just a retarded brain in a jar with an auto-dialer, but The National Illegal Call Center is learning all I know, the testimonials as to legitimacy are bogus too, as the ungrammatical and misspelled diatribes unintentionally give away. So cudos, dude, you're an ignorant piece of s***.

So what do I do if I get the documentation in front of me that my check bounced and then I feel liek a fool since I have no intention of paying whether I owe it or not
?  How can I get around this? What can happen if I do not? What if I do nto have the dinero? I work low wage job and have child support that really hurts. I do nto want to pay something that I forgot or neve rknew about. Should I just ?????? I want this to go way

ya know after coming here a few weeks back and reading the comments on this site, i nvred called that jay dude back. But I did find out that he's now harressing me on by calling me and now is calling my grandma. The worst part/sad part is, he thinks my home phone is a cell phone number. If he calls again, i will be giving him some info on how much of a scam his law firm is, and how much of a fool he really is.

So this Law Firm called my mothers house. I called it back and asked what they are calling for and the A Hole would not tell me anything. I told him i wasted my time calling him back if he is not going to tell me anything. I advised him I will hang up, he tells me, You are not going to threaten me. I told him I am sure you want money and I would think that you would be a little more cooperative if you are requesting something from me so tell me what is on my file. He refused. I hung up... I reviewed the other posts and I am going to call the other guy Matt. It seems funny as their number is unlisted on the reverse phone search on Whitepages.com. Hmmmmmm?

And then right after another scam called me from this number 208-443-4477 wth? these people should be buried in nameless graves human sludge...

Fake i got into it on the phone with this little nerd told him call me one more time and see what happens he got scared and hung up THIS IS A SCAM !!!  201-526-7472 they are a scam for sure ...hate these people who try this crap...

I have dealt with this company as well but after reviewing thee information about them, they are a legit Law Firm based in New Jersey. The owner of this comapny has been in the business for over a decade and used to practice under other names. I did not personally deal with this Jay but they do have a manager there named matt conklin who seemed to know all aspects of collections and assured me that he would handle my account and that they would try to work with me but they have time restraints placed on them by the client. I paid my debt and recived a confirmation letter as he said. If you want to speak to him, he  is at 201-526-7471

yeah I got the same call and the crazy thing is the company he claims i owe, i have never bought anything from nor did they know anything about the debt when I called them.

I received a call from this number and some guy named Jay answered and said I owe for a debt that I never made and he was trying to collect. He was very rude and would not answer any of my questions and could not tell me who the debt was from. needless to say it sounds like a scam to get me to send money.

First message was garbled and hard to understand.  Second one today said something to the effect I was 'obviously ignoring' the first call, but I still had a chance to resolve case # (whatever).

As far as I know, I only have 2 debts and I am already paying those off monthly.

It would be nice if these guys from Jersey could, oh, i don't know, SPEAK PLAINLY.

Seems to me if this was legit, an internet search of the number wouldn't lead me to sites like this one.

A man called me named jay who wanted me to send him money for a debt I dispute owing. I asked him to send me info about who he was, then he started cursing at me!!
