These people have been calling me and leaving messages. They are so rude and nasty. My husband has never used that kind of language at me so there is no way some man from another country is going too talk to me that way. I was also threaten to be arrest and he said what you think I won't come too your house or too your job and get you. He said I was a pathetic (beep). Also a bunch of other things too but, I don't use that kind of language... They are frauds a fake they can't do anything too you. They are just trying too get your money and some people fall for it. Also, what cop is going too call you and tell you they are going to arrest you they don't and neither does a attorney you know. Don't be fooled...

I would contact the bank right away in person. Make copies of these comments and the one by "Scams" that I mentioned in my last post and show it to them. Tell them that the scammers intimidated and harassed you into giving them the money. The person who wrote the "Scams" comment that I just mentioned said that the bank is powerless if you gave the scammer permission, but if you can prove that you were the victim of extortion it might be very helpful. They will probably reverse the charges and change your account number. Then they will go after the company for the money and have them arrested.

Remember to update your account information with any company you do legitimate business with, especially direct debit, so you will have no problems with them when they try to bill you.

Read my post on this page. Also, I found another post on whocallsme from someone who researched these companies and the agencies we report them to, to follow up on how the complaints are handled. They covered EVERYTHING about these people. It will give you a LOT of knowledge about them and peace of mind. Got a call from 754-204-6313 then when I called they said that nobody called me from that number.  Then in the voicemail they said to call 202-241-8274 and threatening to arrest me tomorrow. They want me to talk to the lawyer, they said it is about my SSN.  Same thing with the other person who posted a comment here that it is because I applied for a loan online.  DO I JUST HAVE TO IGNORE THIS CALL???

Just got a phone call from these guy. Same as everyone else, a gentleman with a strong accent claimed to be from a legal firm. Got very belligerent with mw, when I tried to argue with him.
I immediately came in, looked up this number, and have just reported it to the FBI.

Got a call from these people today, threatening to arrest me if I didn't arrange payments. I couldn't understand half of what the man said. Pretended to be from alaw office.  I think they got my information from a an old loan application I did.

Report them to www.IC3.gov . These scumbags bully people into paying them for debts real or made up, whether or not they are legal representatives of the creditor (if there is one), and pocket the money with no reduction of the debt owed.
Talk to your supervisor-there is an ongoing investigation against these low-lifes that you can find on the IC3 website. Make a copy of it to show him or her, tell them that your co-workers are being harassed, and ask them if the calls can be blocked. Also contact your phone service provider to have the calls blocked from your phone.

I received a call from a guy name David Mccoy. I have no idea to who this is. I have received all kinds of threats from 19252378548 and 12022418274. Can someone please help me out on this situation. They claim they are from an law office. I have not been in any trouble. They call, and harassed my co-workers at my job and keep constantly harassing me. I recieved similiar calls stating "Do not disregard this message...". The claim to have my SS# and I can be arrested, Come to find that other co-workers at my job site has gooten the same calls. Thsi is scary. No one should send any money to these Indian folks.

I keep getting a phone call from this number stating there has been a frad case filed against my social security number and they have the last four of my social which is very scary.

i got several phone calls today with the same messages what these idiots don't know is pay day loans are illegal in the state of arizona how couls i possibly get a payday loan. the guy said his name was mr.fernandes but yet had a asian accent an could barely speak english he called from 202-241-8274 when i questioned them they hung up on me several times, many people would get scared and pay them money this is what there trying to do. Yeah I got the same call saying if I didn't pay them they would have me fired from my job, my bank account blocked, and they would have me arrested! The Guy's name was Dave Green and he had a strong Indian accent. They are such idiots! I did get a payday loan but the payday loan company's employer got the same phone call as she had a payday loan as well. So she called corporate office at her job and they are fixing it along with the hundreds of other clients that had the same problem.

This is a total scam! They all had American names, yet could hardly speak English!
They threatened to have me Arrested Monday morning if I didn't pay over $500.00 Dollars in Fees!
I tried to get in touch with a Supervisor, who obviously doesn't exist, as it was just another Middle Eastern person, who couldn't pronounce my name correctly, and made no sense!--

I received phone call from this no and i thought this was harrasement call but when i received court summons to represend myself in court for this legal matter i was in big trouble and almost i had spend 2500$ to offend case in court and get out of this legal situation. They are really calling from bureau of justice statistics as i had investigated this no.

Same as above.... they called my cellphone 3 times with no message, and then called me at work!!!! they called my work phone like 6times. I am a manager at a fine dining establishment, and it is very unprofessional to keep having these ridiculous  phone calls!!!

high accent man claims to be calling on behalf of cash advance about a payday loan that i never took out. They have my ss# and a fake mailing address. Also they threaten leagal action and gave me a phone number 646-499-4208 that the same people answered
