Guy calls and asks for "Marv"  ("Marv" has been gone for over a year)  I tell him "Marv" is not answering his page and ask if I may take a message.  The guys says "Nah ... I'll shoot him an email!"

Received call, asked what project is it for "no project" I'm just reaching out to the Owner from Todd Shepards office.  When we say he's not available they get irritated and say we'll send him and email.  Solicitation.

This is Partners for America and they claim they can improve your business.  They also claim they are tied into some phony Mayors group that doesn't exist.  

They are a consulting firm with a lot of angles.  Won't help to interview them in person.

Had several calls since last week.....keeping telling them the owner isn't interested in talking to them.....still keep calling on a daily basis.

We have been getting calls from this number for months. Often multiple times a day. As so many others have already commented, usually with very rude solicitors on the other end. Lately they've even been saying that they're calling from Norma Butler's office and they try to make it sound legitimate. Thanks to the other posts on here, I had enough info to start digging around. Apparently this Partner America Program is affiliated with a company called American Management Services- website is www.amserv.com. I found a number listed for that company on their website- 800-743-0402. I called and explained to the gal who answered that we have been harassed by their solicitors and we want it to stop. She transferred me to someone named Rick Wood who seemed helpful and had a Brittish accent.  He seemed very nice and appologetic and asked if we knew the name of the individual making the rude calls. We did not. He said he was taking our name out of their database and I should call and let him know if we get any additional calls.

Asked for the owner by name. She said her name and that she was calling from Mrs. XXX office. I asked what it was regarding and she said it was about an appointment that she was confirming. I asked what the appointment was about and she said a stimulus package. I said he was not answering, she asked to have him paged. Could you imagine paging the owner CEO over some BS solicitor. Who really is that brazen, to think him being interrupted in his busy schedule to talk to some rediculous pitch. If there was any chance of him being interested in what they had to say, that would definitely put them at zero chance.

We have had at least 40-50 calls in the last 2 months from this number. When questioned, they once told me his name was Chris Troy. Not always the same guy.  They always ask for the president of our company by name, but will not leave a call back number or message. They have also said they will just call him on his cell (which they do not have that info).   when I called the number back, they answer as Partner America.I got a recorded message to leave my name and phone number. I am TIRED of this continual harassment by these guys.  JUST MAKE THEM GO AWAY !!!!!

Rude Woman who would not leave message  just wanted the owner or co owerner  who works for no company

The person said his name was Moe Carter and asked for the owner.  He said to be from the DC Economic Development Division which sounded like something we would be getting calls from.  He said it was in regards to an inquiry my boss submitted.  The person was not rude at all but why do you have to lie that way in order to get in touch with a person..really?  As many others posted already - it is a waste of everybody's time.

He said he was Mr. XXX from Ms. YYY's office in Washington DC from the conference of mayors.called asking for the President of the company (by Name).

I asked for more information via email and he said he couldn't give it without speaking to the President directly and that there were stimulus dollars at stake.  (we are a construction company).

When I called conference of mayors, they had a Ms. YY (she's real) and I freaked out thinking it might be a legit call.  Anyone else gotten this?

This is likely the rudest call we ahve received, we are reporting them to the attorney general in their state based on their call from area code (202) and ours.  they call back time and time again, with no relief,  I will let the pros handle them.

"DANNY" ASKED TO SPEAK TO OUR OWNER- i STATED HE WASNT IN AND HE INSISTED ON GETTING ANOTHER NUMBER FOR HIM-  AFTER I REFUSED- HE GOT VERY SARCASTIC WITH ME TELLING ME THAT IM AN IDIOT FOR NOT KNOWING ANYTHING  AND THREATENED TO HAVE ME FIRED( IM VICE PRESIDENT)  I HUNG UP -  CALL WAS FROM WASHINGTON DC

I hung up on my caller as well. Then he called back and said, "Did you just hang up on me?" I let him know that I pushed the wrong button and apologized. (Which I really did hang up on him) He completely harassed me and said things like "Wow, I cant wait to tell your boss how unprofessional you are, put me into his voice mail" When I said I'm sorry I cant do that, I can take a message, he said that "He heard me say that and that I should stop repeating myself".

These same two statements by him and I went on for what seems like an eternity. When I finally said,  "Look I need to go, is there a message I can give to him?" His response was, "Are you really going to hang up on me again? I dare you, can't wait till your boss finds out" I had to hang up. Worthless waste of my time.

What great feed back this is. I wonder if you had them come out just so you could educate yourself and the rest of us as to what they are all about? If so, BRILLIANT.! I, as well as probably some other folk on here appreciate it. Unfortunately I am the call screener for the owner of my company, and a lot of these calls sound the same. Rush rush to talk to the owner, never leaving identifying information, and rude. It always makes me nervous when I refuse to connect a telemarketer to my boss for fear that it is a legitimate call. So thank god for "Who Calls Me", I feel better being able to look these numbers up and verify myself, that my hunch was right. Thank you Who calls me.

The man said he was Michael Grevebov and wouldn't give a company name.  He said he worked for himself.  When I asked what sort of work he did, he wouldn't answer.  He kept insisting the company ower (who he called by name) would know him.  He hung up when put on hold.  I called the number back and got a recording for Partner America.

This Partner America company is getting annoying.....keeping calling asking for me by name and referring to me as the boss's wife, or one of the owners (they obvisously don't know ME).   When they ask to speak with the true owner (I know now it's these telemarketing people) I say he's busy and ask to take a message at whch point they either say "no message at this time" or "I wanted to introduce myself, I can do that later".   They always give the impression they know the owner by name (but slip up when referring to him).....how the heck do I get them to stop calling.    It's annoying, and very distruptive to our business.

received a call from this number from Tom @ the Conference of Mayors office for our owner - he is the new "Director for Stimulus Growth" under Christine Hill.  Whoever these people are.  They would not give me a contact number (because it is a federal office and they can't give those #s out) or full name.  He said he would call back monday.

Called again - hung up on him because he tried to boss me around, telling me to just put him through to the owner.  He called back multiple times & threatened to call my boss's cell phone & tell him I'd been hanging up on him repeatedly.  I told him I had no idea what he was talking about.  Very amusing though that he claims to have boss's cell number but continues to call here from this number....

Calls every few weeks asking for owner by name - claims to have spoken to him which is a complete lie.  Won't say where he's from - well, I guess he did - said he was calling from Washington DC..........

Losers.

When I answered the call he said is this "XXX" and called me by name, then started with pleasantries.  Then asked for the owner (called him by name), when I asked what it was regarding he said "if you mention MeyerCo, he'll know"......owner wasn't available so caller said he'd leave a voice message ---- he didn't.   This guy calls every month or so -- has our names on file so he can act like there's a business relationship.   People need to get real, honest jobs.

Just this minute received another call from someone else at the same number.

kevin berry he said his name was, asked for the owner by name, when i asked what company he said he was not with a company but that he knows him, so i put him on hold - like i usually do with fools that try to get through and he hung up! :D

guy called and asked for the owner by name.  wehn asked who was calling he said his name was michael.  asked where he was calliong from and he was evasive - finally said he worked from home.  claimed the owner asked him to call when "he was back".  what a line of bu**!

Same MO - just called here asking for owner by name - evasive when asked questions.  Said his name was (whatever) & that he was calling on behalf of (woman's name).  I asked what company - said he wasn't from a company.  Whatever.  Permanent hold to waste a bit of his time....he held for over 2 mins!  =)

Man called asking for Lee (the owner).  Stated he wasn't in.  Then he asked when he would be in.  Asked him where he was calling from.  He evaded the question.  Again he asked when Lee would be in as Lee was expecting his call.  That's when I hung up on him.  Caller ID said Washington D.C.

I'm wondering if anyone here is also getting calls from Pioneer Credit Recovery, a student loan collection scammer. If you own a business and owe on a loan, it seems like these evasive calls could be an attempt to identify the alleged debtor. Leave it to PCR to employ some slimeball in an attempt to provide a positive id on someone.

got this call today. thought that it seemed weird. they want to come here for a visit tommorow. i told them not to show up. when i left a message, it said Partner America. I looked that up and there hasn't been any activity on that website since 2010. guy said his name was Mark Meyer. they had a bunch of information about us.

Received a Call from Doug Coleman asked for Owner by name and Told him he was in meeting he then asked for the other two owners which i stated were not in. I asked if I could help him with anything because I knew call was phony he said sure and then hung up.

Caleld them back and got vmail of Partner America...left message to be removed from all calling lists.

Received a call from Rick Wood (English accent) looking for the owner.  Wouldn't give a call back number.  I will never let him get through.
