I got a call from (202) 459-6026 saying the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and then saying to call back in the morning. The guy had a strong foreign accent. I told him I would be calling back with my lawyer and he hung up.

"IRS Litigations",a supposed company out of "Washington DC" continues to call my home (814.866.8513).I have attempted to have them stop calling my home by placing  me on a "no call list".Unfortunately they continue w/ their scam calling to my home.This has been going on now for several years.Anything I can do about it?

They called and said they were collecting money to help veterans. After telling him 4 or 5 times that I live on a small S.S. check he finally just hung up on me. He started out telling me the minimum amount you can "donate" was $40, and stopped at $10. I have never heard any "charity" requiring a minimum donation. How dare they try to rip off the very people that fight for their freedom. There is a special place in hell for these guys!!

Called yesterday and today around the same time (5:15 or so). When I picked up, no answer.

Received two calls from 202-461-3233; 11/20/13, and 11/21/13 mid pm.  did not answer.

Name now comes up as "unknown", all lower case which is weird. No message left.

Caller ID - WASHINGTON DC.  Shut my answering machine off, it rang 3 times and they hung up.

Got a call from this # (202-461-3233) I actually called them back and said Hi someone from this number called me. The man stated he was from the American Veterans Association looking for donations!

Got this call but I don't answer calls I don't know. I'm 88yrs old WW2 veteran and don't give a fat rat's behind even if it came from Washington!

I just got the vetran version of the call.  CallerID showed "WSHNGTNZN1 DC"

I think it's a really intelligent robocall.  At first I thought it was real, and started to talk, and it hung up on me.  So I called it back, and I got the exact same voice, same content.

I have received a lot of calls from this number but no message left. I'm going to call them and record the conversation then tell them I'm from the IRS and one of out agents will be at their business with search warrents and to please have someone available when they get there see how. They like it lol ill let everyone know. How it went

they have called three evenings, but since I don't recognize it, I haven't answered and they have left no messages?

Apparently this phone number is being used for a different purpose tonight.

Caller said they were a private company raising funds for American Veterans Support Foundation

Yeah the same thing happened to me they left a message saying that they are suing me and i should call back immediately. i have not called becuase I believe its a scam. no one fromt he IRS Will call leaving a threatening message like what they left me and plus the government is on a shut down

got this call 10/10/201, today told me the same thing. heavy accent and told me to pay on the phone, 3500 dollars that were due on my tax year of 2008 and 2009. he said a warrant has been issued for my arrest, and need to pay now on the phone,cut the call, after i called back more than 6 times he insisted i tell him if i had that amount of money to pay now or risk going  to jail,  i asked for his name and he cut the call, he . contact number is 202 461 3233, ext 7991826. reported him to my attorney, who told me its a scam, hope to God he gets arrested for his bad actions

I got a call too today from the same no. WSHNGTNZN1 DC and person named Adam Smith about an hr back 11 am! I called them right back and told them I got a call from that no.. He asked me my name and I instead asked him who you guys are? He repeated back in a heavy accent " who we guys are" he told me the same thing that IRS has filed a lawsuit against us for not paying $ 3000+ in taxes from 2008 on..I told him we paid our taxes in full and have never received any notice from IRS. He asked me if I had an attorney..I said why would I have one and told me if I dont pay them right away then, tomorrow morning we both will be arrested and our assets and bak accounts will be confiscated and bla bla bla...I told him, I'll have my husband call them back as he is the one submitting taxes for both of us. I was so afraid the way he was talking and threatening and called my husband. He told me to ignore it as IRS doesn't make phone calls...Then, I came back to search on the internet and found this post!

The guy calling from this number claims his name is Ronnie.  Ronnie is an Indian-sounding male that when confronted about his position with the I.R.S., backs into a corner and resorts to vulgar comments to make himself feel like he's doing the right thing by trying to steal your money.  His ineptitude is not surprising, but it does make me wonder how he actually makes any money.  If you call this number back and reach voicemail, it says that the extension # is 7991826.  I'm not sure if this would help when tracing or assisting the authorities, but the phone number is also registered to Cavalier Telephone, LLC.  The telephone company has not responded to emails reporting the fraudulent "Ronnie."

Say they are the IRS and a law suit is filed against you.

I too got this call today 10-10-13 and I reported them immediately to my local sheriff department and then I went online for a reverse look up and found these other posts.  Yes, strong Asia Indian accent and no clue how IRS really does business---still annoying and I hope they get caught.  My advice DO NOT RETURN the call period and report them to everyone you can think of.
