ID with this # said it was from American VoiceM

Someone called me twice yesterday.
Caller ID says Washington, DC

Said "american voicemail"?????? Strange...

comes up as American Voicem, probably different political organizations who hire them. i know i got on the Republican party's list by mistake. this specific robo survey was in my opinion a fascist attempt to stir up support to take away government workers rights (in the state of Illinois) like they did in Wisconsin. they have tried all over the Midwest and now they are trying in Illinois.  fascists. just propaganda and stirring up trouble plus during the bulls game.

We got 2 calls from this number in the last hour. IL, Western suburbs.

Also got it. IL, NW Burbs.

Just got that number on my caller ID in Chicago.  WTF??

This was a recorded message asking if I felt safe in my neighborhood.
I tried to hang up an it kept talking and asking me questions..xn&^%!!

I just got a robo call for elections in Illinois from this number.  I used to live in Chicago but don't anymore and I don't have an IL area code.  The call never identified who was calling...I had to google to figure it out.

called me twice this evening.  i did pick up once last week and it was politics.  called me 4 times already in last 3 weeks.  annoying...

It's definitely regarding politics.  It's a number that gets reused for whatever political stance they decide to solicit for the moment.  Just ignore it.  There's nothing you can do about it.

I just missed a call from this number and tried to return call. All I got was a full voice mailbox.

They asked for the parents of my sister. I handed the phone to my mother, she asked who they were. They said the American Prep Center and proceeded to tell my mom "your daughter indicated on her ACT's that she request to raise her score"....my sister hasn't even taken her ACT's yet..My Mom asked again who they were and he said "Thank you maam" and hung up.

Caller ID (like above) says American Voicem. Called back and got an answering machine saying the party you tried to reach is unavailable - please leave message after the tone.

My personal number has part of this number in it. So it is showing up on caller ID. Problem is people are calling me back wanting to know why I am calling them. Really annoying! Anyone have suggestions on how to get my number to stop showing up?

This is so stupid.  My area code is obviously not in the City of Chicago.  I happen to be from Chicago, I do care what happens to Chicago, but I cannot vote so my opinion should not be worth anything.  Dumb...

Apparently its a polling system for chicago mayoral race - given a list of names, who would YOU want to run for mayor.  Body is not even cold............

They called me 4 times from this number? Trying to also find out why! Any help as to why?

This man said it was a public opinion survey, then asked if I feel safe walking in my neighborhood at night.  It sounded like a tape recorded message.
