I received a call from this number that I was selected for a free grant from the government in the amount of $5000.  please report to FBI.

I received a call from 2024700666. the person ask for me by my first name which was sooo creepy. I could tell it was a scam because of the acent and because she told me she was from some agency called American Debt Consolidation. im just wondering how they got my name and number

Recieved a call from 2024700666.  When I told them to not call me until they could speak proper English, they began to belittle me in a thick accent.  After I hung up the first time, they then called me back and told me that I would be arrested.  After telling them to come arrest me, they then told me that all I had to do was verify some information.  I let them know that I work for the phone company, which I do, and what they are doing is criminal and can lead to serious enfractions, including jail time.  After hangning up on them several times, they then continued to call back and yell on my phone and on my answering machine for about a dozen phone calls.  The sad thing is that this happened in front of my 6 and 2 year old.  I hope these a**holes get what's coming to them!!

I also received a call from this number claiming my husband had received a grant from the federal government.  I said "The government never gives us nothing for free" and they hung up on me.

I received a call telling me that we were eligible for a $5000 grant from the federal govt. They asked for the last 4 digits of any ID number.  When I asked them how would I know that this was a legitimate agency, they gave me this phone number and a Washington D.C. address.  They also gave me an employee number. I also thought it sounded suspicious and found this number on google.

Received a call from "Steven Sommers" and "James Benkamin" claiming they want to give me a 500 doller government grant but I had to pay a cash fee of 149.99 at a Western Union. Then they gave me a location of Madagascar, Tama. Sounds fishy and not US government related at all. Beware!
