I just received this same call and they told me to put $180 on the green dot money pak card  and the federal bank will give me the 10,200 dollars in like fifteen minutes.

Same call I mean who calls you 5 times a day until you answer and try to give to money???

Ok my call was pretty much the same thing so now I'm wondering have any1 actually went throw the process of sending the money n waiting on the money 2 come bk n I want 2 kno did it or it didnt?????Cause far as I'm reading we all just recieve the call

This scam is very much TRUE! I received a phone call today stating that i had won 10,200 dollars in government money and all they needed was my credit card information to deposit my money into my account. At first i was kind of sketchy about the phone call but they had all my background information about my college so i thought that it was my refund check being deposited. After i gave them all my information they gave me a confirmation code and a call back number to their Finance Manager to estimate my grant again. Once i hung up from the man who had a kind of foreign accent, i called the call back number and there was no answer just a long ring. I got afraid it was a fraud phone call and looked up the area code online which was (202) from Washington, D.C. and fount this website. I immediately had to put a block on my credit card and order a brand new bank card. PLEASE be careful these Fraud calls are becoming outrageous!!!!!

I got the same call but they went up on the so called fee its now 199 smh they should be put in jail for false claiming against the government

I got the same exact call , from the same number , claiming to be awarded $10,200.
But I had to get a Green Dot Money Pack with $180 on it , that will cover the State & Bank Transfer fees.

Today is July 31 and I just received the vary same call!  They say it is a Government "gift" for those with no criminal history and that pay their bills on time.  I was first contacted by this number: 202-697-7222 who gave me a grant number and this phone number to call.  Both callers I spoke with sounded Hindu or Indian.

This number was given to me as a call back # to get my 10,200. I was told that I needed to western union them 180.00 as a processing gift to a third world country. When I told him I didn't have 180.00 he asked could I borrow it. He is waiting for a call that he will never get.
