"Martin Mason" could barely speak English and he has called me on more than one occasion. Real talk if the government is going to send you money they know how to find you.

They also called me takling about a 700$ loan with a 225 security deposit thats money u will never ever see again dont trust it or fall for it tis a lie the woman i spoke to was fiona morris

My son's girlfriend called to see what I thought about a call she received from this number.  As soon as she mentioned they wanted her to go to Western Union I knew it was a scam.  People do not call you when you you are owed money and you never have to send money to get money.

Thanks to everyone who wrote in about this number.  It gave proof to my son's girlfriend in letting her know she was not missing out getting the money they said they had for her.

It's a fraud! A BIG SCAM! Don't fall for it. They called me too and it just didn't make any sense. Why should I have to western union $225 to receive $7,000 in grants? I did an extensive research and found out all they're trying to do is take your money! Please don't do it and if they call again, curse them out! Lol

They just called also saying that in order to claim my $7k grant I will need a state id, confirmation #, and $225.00. They can barely speak English. Not sure what this whole bs is about, but I'm not falling for it. Next time I will request for them to send me the check. lol The lady that I spoke to is Gloria Kelly her employee # GK1250C

They just called me and im  calling the police.

I was just contacted by a man claiming to be from the US Federal Government Grant Department Health and Human Services. Claiming that I qualified for a $7,800 grant from the US Gov.
He gave me a grant file number and a number to call back when I was at a western union office, then I was to send $225 to them to show what office I was at, then they would send me a total of $8025 back to me.

The number he called me from is (202)657-2222 and the number I was to call back was (202)470-6766.

He also stated he got my information from me applying for a job online... Is this real? My gut says no... but I am asking just in case, because I could use the money, but my gut says nothing is for free, and that it is a scam...

How can I tell if it is or not?

They have triied to call me three times and make that offer. Everyone can barely speak english and "work for the government." I just screw with them. Anyone that sends $225 will never see it again. You are warned not to tell the western union rep what the money is for???

Why would you send 225.00 to someone offering a  7000.0 grant.ripp off.

That i received a federal grant of about $7,000. Which it wasn't true because i called Washington DC and they told me that i didn't have any grants. But what they do is they ask you to deposit $225 so you can get your money. Its a fraud. Don't fall for it.
