These people at CARD SERVICES call every other day, mornings, afternoons and evenings.  We have done the take our number off the list with them every single time per their instructions...DOESN'T STOP THE CALLS DOESN'T DO ANY GOOD and you can't ever get to aperson even with the other instructions.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE

I recently ask a company to reverse charges for an online service I did not knowingly order or want. I didn't say it was fradulent usage I said I did not order or want the service.  These calls started a couple of days later. I want these calls to stop!

called 45 minutes ago.  only saw that i had a missed call with no VM.  checked the number here first - glad that I didn't call back...

Got a call today.  Yup, D.C.  Didn't get a voice mail but gave them a call back. Asked me if I wanted to be a part of a "special offer".  I just hung up. Hopefully will be the last I hear from them.

Have rec'd at least 3 calls from this number. HOPEFULL will not get any more. If its like email DO NOT press anything to "be taken off list," as it only confirms that your number is active.

I put this number (and some other like it) on my cell phone reject list but it still gets through sometimes.

I got a call from this number and didn't answer. They left no message so I called it back and I got a automated message asking if I didn't want to receive calls from them again to press 1 but it gave no name as to who they were or what they call about. So I pressed 1 to have them remove my number.

I got these annoying calls after submitting tons of resumes.  Someone probably wants to get more personal info to steal identities since resumes generally have names, addresses, phone numbers and emails.  When I last answered these calls, they had an automated message asking that I extend my car warranty as it will expire soon.  BS.

Same here.  Calls but no messages.  Dont want messages anyway.  I dont answer random area code calls.  I hope these losers get caught.

All bogus. I just added them to a contact in my phone called "ZZ do not answer" then assigned a "mute" ringtone to it. Now I never hear them call!

I keep getting calls from this on my cell phone.  I thought that was illegal?

Got one just now.  I hope someone can figure out who is responsible and we can start a class action lawsuit against them.  Or better yet, tar & feather them.

Annoyed, they called and didn't leave a message.  i screen all my calls, as this phone line is a personal one.

Have been receiving calls this morning from another one of these numbers and then this one calls me.  No message was left.

missed the call...they left no message

Google Voice identified (202) 495-7122 as being from Washington DC.
Voicemail started off with "hello" and nothing further.

Called 9:40Am 09/08/09.  When I didn't answer, they kept calling without using my answer service.  I finally picked up receiver without saying 'hello' and just listened.  Absolutely nothing on the other end. They haven't called back yet, thank goodness.

I to got a call from this number today, it is a scam, theey claimed they were from the card services and oddered to lower our interest rate on our credit card, I fell for it gave my credit card number and of course they asked me to varify my mailing address which i did, this allowed them to call up the credit card company five my account number and Zip code number unfortuatly for the scamer my credit card was at its max, so he hung up, I have since canceled the card.
Advise from the credit card company is that they would never call a customer to offer a service.

Caller asked my to press one if I wanted lower rates on my credit card however I don't have any credit cards so I pressed one to let them know. I told the man that I didn't have any credit cards and to remove my number he than told my I shouldn't have pressed one and hung up on me. Very rude. I think this is some type of scam. Be careful

same thing happened here today - missed call showed up in caller ID, but no voice mail message.

Called, caller id came up with only the number, no title.  I did not answer, and they did not leave a message.
