Three calls from this number since yesterday, including one at 8:30 am. Caller said call was from Washington Memorial Park, at which point I hung up.

Two to three calls a week... If I pick up there is no answer... ANNOYING!

this is a "cancer institute" that, according to Charity Navigator which investigates charities, is a scam. they go by several names, cancer research for children is the most despicable one - the person on the phone will give you a brief speech on the poor and hopeless kids they help.  they have a slew of numbers that they use and they call until 8 p.m. at night.   i block all their calls, although it is still annoying.

called at very inconvenient time and left no message - not familiar with area code, say nothing about specific number

The number comes up as the American Institute of Cancr Research, which looks like a scam of a place when you google search it.  You can view it for yourself at http://www.aicr.org/site/PageServer  I hope this helps.
