I too received a text from this number, 2025310757, stating that I won a $1000 dollar gift card from Walmart. To redeem my winnings, I must enter "1000" at a website address.
I didn't respond to the text, nor have I completed their instructions. I don't participate in contests or sweepstakes, so how could I win? I just wonder how a solicitor got my number or why they are allowed to text me?
Anyway, I'm glad I read these postings.

promodaygiveaway.com is registered to a domain proxy by an owner who doesn't want to be found with registration contacts in Nassau, Bahamas so it can't be a Walmart operation. Re. "it didn't do anything," you did exactly what the scammer wanted you to, you'll just have to wait and see what happens next. I suggest you watch your accounts carefully for a few weeks, you may have consented to being charged for strange memberships, premium texts, whatever and be prepared for a barrage of scam calls because your number has probably been sold on to other scammers as a vulnerable target.

I always fill out the Wal Mart Surveys when I am selected, so when I got this text, I thought this might be legitimate. Boy was I wrong. Came here first, then went to the web site. An instant "poor" rating warned me away from the site.

Same thing just happened to me this morning, but it was a text message. Being a paranoid sort about this type of thing, I came here before investigating the website.

You get a text message telling you that you have won a free $1000 Walmart Gifting Card - you go to the site and it tells you that you need to participate in all these surveys, agree to get text and calls from different retailers....what it boils down to, is that you have NOT won anything, it's just a scam!

Got a text from this number saying I won $1000 gift cart from Wal-mart. Entered code and it didn't do anything.
