First call received today. Dead silence on the line..then hang up. I've added them to my call blocker...no more calls from these idiots

Got a call at 7:40 PM; out of area - but phone number displayed - 202-552-1970.  Picked up on third ring - no answer on the other end, and hung up after about 5-10 seconds.

They have been calling 3-4 times a day for well over a month, never leave a message, but its always at a different time.
 I have finally got fed up with them, and i called the number back and got a recording.  they gave me the option in the recording for more information, and then gave me the option to be removed from their calling list.  the only downside is that it will take up to 30 days to remove me, in which they can still call me.... i guess I can live with it, as long as the calls really do stop.

This is a Republican group with the leader being Michael Steele.  Our number was owned by Republicans in the past, and we are independents.  We have gotten a number of harrasing calls and when we asked to be removed fromtheir lists they refused because we were not the person they were claling.  We are on the do not call list.  And "robocalling" is a Republican tactic that has been used before.

These people call at least 3 times a day in the evenings...around dinner time.  So much for family values...  I have asked to be taken off their list.

same as each of these reports......what does it take if all these postings, e-mails, remove us from your list, etc...do not stop the calls???

They call me five times a day on average.  Started about 9-12 months ago.  Also a Republican and on a mailing list.

They've called us between 12 and 24 times in the past three weeks. I called the number on caller id, pressed one, pressed three to remove my number and entered it. The recording said it could take 30 days to remove us. Went to gopac.org and emailed them to ask if this number belongs to them.

We have been receiving calls from GOPAC for almost 6 months now.  They call all hours of the day and evening; as early as 6:40AM and as late as 11:30PM.  The calls come in 1 to 3 times a day, 7 days a week. If answered there is just dead air. We have tried ignoring the calls, but are then iritated by a ringing phone.  Best approach so far is to pick up and then immediately hang up.... it at least stops the ringing!!

THEY CALL US EVERY DAY TOO!!  THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE, AND THE ONE TIME WE PICKED UP, THERE WAS DEAD AIR ON THE OTHER END.  IF THEY ARE DOING THIS TO HARASS REPUBLICANS, IT WON'T WORK ON US!! WHOEVER THEY ARE, THEY ARE SUBJECT TO FEDERAL OFFENCE, BECAUSE WE ARE ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.  WE CAN EACH SUE THEM FOR $11,000. DOES ANYONE HAVE THEIR ADDRESS AND OTHER PERTINANT INFO SO WE CAN DO THIS?

I receive two or three callse per day, including Sundays. It's my own fault, however, becuase I belong to the Republican party. I may indeed rectify that part of the problem before the presidential primary.

They call constantly!!!!!

I get called by this number twice a day, same circumstances.  Been hapening for weeks.  This is not the first time I've run into this.  The Caller IDs says GOPAC but these calls however are being made my liberal groups hoping to annoy people into not supporting them. They get ahold of the phone numbers of people on mailing lists for conservative groups and try to annoy the hell out of them, making it look like its being done by these conservative groups when in fact it is not. Best you can do is plead with your phone company to block these calls or perhaps report to the police the continual harassment.

They call 3-4 times a week.  Caller ID says "GOPAC" sometime and out of area other times.  Its a auto dialer and never switches to a caller on their end.  Just dead air.  A few times they were there and asked to speak to my wife.  I thought she must have given them money in the past, as we are on the national no call list, which allows calls if you have supported in the past.  She has no recognition of this organization, although is a registered republican.  Went on their web site and emailed them today 8/20 to ask to be removed from their system.
