These SOBs have been calling  me constantly and of course I simply hang up. If you want to do something about it you can contact your local phone company and  complain! Many states have strict rules against phone harassment. Here in NH, all it takes is ONE complaint and if they call again you can sue their sorry a****!  You can also call The National Org for Marriage ( hint use the *67 before you enter their phone number if you are calling from your cell or any other phone,,, This blocks your number as being shown)  here is their info:  ( Hope this helps) oh and by the way.. call and harass them  as much as possible using the *67 method !!!!

Does not matter if you are on the Do Not Call list  or not,political jerks can and do make these robo calls. I never answer,I screen all calls. They never get through ,yet they continue to call severql times a day and each message is the same. (Are you a registered voter in NYS?) They probably get your number from the voter registration. Threy already know what party you are registered with and they target you that way. This particular caller always says they will call again AND THEY DO.
We either get a law passed,or cuss the hell out of them,whatever works.

I am registered on the National Do Not Call Registry.  I should not be getting these unsolicited calls twice a day.  It is harassment.

This is SO frustrating!  For the past few weeks I've received several phone calls per day from these scumbags.  If I'm not here at the time, they leave the same message, which includes, "We may call back later."  (Yeah, and they always do.)  Unfortunately, I don't have caller ID.

I too have (already) answered their question.  Once is obviously not enough for them, they want me to give them either the same answer again (which would be an unfair 'tally," wouldn't it?) or the one they WANT me to give.  Unfortunately, even though we may be on the "do not call" list, public survey like this are allowed through.  Harassment, all right.

Tar and feather them, I say!   I wonder if the Maris College Institute for Public Opinion has a hand in this.  They've made surveys like and about this other years, according to our friend Google.

I called the Dave Monge number and got his voicemail saying something like he is the Institute for Marriage. I left a message, but I will call him tomorrow and keep calling until I get him. I want off this list. Will keep posting.

I just called the number that Duke listed & was answered by the "tired-sounding" man.  He assured me my number would be removed.  If not, like many here, I'm mad enough at the harrassment to try to do something about it.  Even if I agreed with their views, I deeply resent the harassment & invasion of my privacy!

I have finally stopped these harassing calls!!!!

After a few days switch back to a normal message the robocaller thinks you canceled service.

this is NOM the Nat'l Org for Marriage - it's Mormon run & against gay marriage - bombarding us NY residents because of a gay marriage vote coming up.  It's somehow exempt from robocalls and the do not call lists.  I took their phone # - 609-688-0450 - and have made it my personal mission to annoy them several times a day like they do to me.  I just leave a voice mail telling them I hope I'm bothering you like you do me and hamg up.  I'm suggesting this to my relatives also being bothered by them - hopefully someone has to listen to all these voice mails and hopefully also be annoyed.

Did you call the 609 phone number and get any results ? Have they stopped calling?

They have called me 47 times in the past ten days.  I am not home.  The same message each time says "This is a survey.  We may call back."  When I call the number back I get a message saying, "this is a non-working number."

if you don't have caller I.D. just HANGUP ... do not stay on the line ... do not let these a** holes trick you into staying on the line to take a survey ... the only way to stop these calls is to IGNORE them ... if you have caller I.D. just let it RING if you don't recognize the number ... especially since they are from area codes all over the place ... these are machine generated calls ... do NOT encourage these morons!

when are you people going to learn NOT to answer the phone when you do not recognize the number???  if you don't have caller I.D., then you should get it ... there is NO way to stop these calls ... the do NOT call list is a JOKE ... resign yourselft that as long as you own a telephone, some azz hole is going to call the number ... these are RANDOM calls ... a machine generates the phone numbers ... it's NOTHING personal ... you canNOT stop these nuisance calls ... you just can't.

I have received several calls from this number. When you try to say something other than Yes or No you get a rude message saying the survey is very important.
I think they are not who the pretend to be. I bellieve they are trying to get people to be angry with the Right to Life and Tea Party people. No one who calls so many times and with such a crude survey format can be for real.

I love to mess with telemarketers. I've got a list of questions and read them before they can start asking me questions. They start off lame,How are you? and get more personal....how tall are you? how old are you? do you like a**l sex? Ever had an STD? Do you swallow and if so will you do multiple partners simultaneously? Try it sometime.....

For past 2 weeks, our two phone numbers have been getting an auto message left asking if I am registered to vote in state of NY. They will call again. Caller ID is Freersrch2011. I called NCO. They are a collection agency. The first rep said that they did own 202-630-9908. I had to give her my phone number so she could check to see if they are calling, and she said they are and are looking for a Douglas Trainer, who owes money. Then we got disconnected. I called back. Second rep verified that they had my number as one to call looking for Douglas Trainer to collect money. I asked her if NCO used the Freersrch2011 caller ID and the automated public service message as a way of getting people who they are trying to collect money from to answer the phone. She denied that. She said they don't own the 202-630-9908. Then I gave her the second of our phone numbers.  Rep said that one was not on their list. She said that they would remove my phone number from their list, and within 24 to 48 hours I would no longer get the public survey calls. It will be interesting to see if the calls stop on the second number, which the rep said they weren't calling. I told NCO that if I started getting more calls, I would contact every state and federal consumer and legal agency I could and report them.

The Do Not Call list does NOT apply to political calls. There is a separate list: 'The national political do not call registry'. Go to www.stoppoliticalcalls.org  and register for free. The reason I replied to you is because of your story...i feel really bad about your situation. I just went through hours of trying to find a phone number for this a**, brian brown's campaign and found the political do not call registry and i'm trying to spread the word,

Calling multiple times a day and taking up answering machine space....

This is a recorded message/ survey about gay marriage. They call every 15 minutes.

Every single day for the past 3 weeks or so, I receive at least 3 calls and up to five calls from this number. On my caller id, the name associated with this number comes up as 'FREERSRCH2011'. The recorded message says, 'Hi, this is Brian Brown', bla bla bla(says he is some kind of politician), 'with a survey to benefit' bla bla bla, 'are you registered to vote in new york city?' The bla blas are because I am so mad every time i get the call that I cant even remember what he says, but whatever the cause that he describes, to me, doesn't seem to have anything to do with whether I'm registered to vote or not!! After he asks the question, there is a pause for me to say 'no' or 'yes', and everytime i say, 'stop f-*$ing calling my house!' and then the recording says, 'thank you. we may call back later'.
The point is, they give you no choice. They are trying to force me to answer the question by calling over and over and over again, every day until I give them a yes or no answer, which I refuse to do!!! That's why I'm looking into this now, to see if I can find a way to get in touch with them. These c*^ksuckers will not make me answer their c%#ksucking survey. I have a right to live in peace and if I have to fight for it, I will!
