Nick Richards got me for $200 said pay upfront and receive 10,200 in grant money. Now I am late on my rent and now I have to move cause this is my second time being late on rent so now I have to move with no money thanks nick you hurt me really bad.  But it's my dumb a** fault for being a trusting person I'm so lost right now. My call was from restricted . I won 9800 and was to call this # 206 317 1478 and told me I had to put in 3 00 for security cut    any one could pick my money up n they were thru the treasury n health n human resources I googles hhs gov n the number n called . Right off the back the  said it was a scam these people R thieves n not to do it n forwarded me to the inspector general . N what's funny the scammers said that the 300 dollar depossit  would be sent yo the inspector general so he could no it was really me n like u all said I would get a reciept # to get my grant . So yeah if it's sounds sketchy n to good to be true it is. Look out for Oscar Perez n this number 206 317 1478

I too got a call from the same people and she told me to call on the no.2026575954 and talk to her manager right away and and said that 1500 people have been picked for it and i need to be calling her manager until he picks it up because there are several people ahead of me. She also said that since I always pay my taxes on time , my background is good and not filled bankruptcy so that i have been picked . She was also forcing me to call right away . I did called but by the time I did my survey online and found it is totally scam. These surveys were really helpful to me and saved my money and information and my identity. Such people should be behind the bars!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I got a call yesterday from a lady who said I was choosen for a grant from the government.She also said it was for $7000.I then ask her what's the catch?Her answer to me was no catch mam this is real.She told me to call this number 202-621-0436.And they will explain the grant and how to receive the money.I then called the number and a gentlemen by the name Lucas answer.Mr.Lucas began telling me how I was choosen.You pay your taxes on time and don't have a crimmal record.Also he said the grant was called help human sevices.Next he said do you want it Western Union,Mastercard, or check?I then said this can't be real.Just like the lady earlier he said it is.I said ok,I want Western Union.Lucas said ok here's what I need you to do.Go to the Western Union get a yellow and green sheets.He said I would have tp pay $290 for sercurity.And that I would get it back plus the $7000.He said it would take 10 minutes and he would walk me through it.Oh by the way during our conversation it had static.But he said please don't tell anyone.I then said why?Mr.Lucas he said the government only had so much money to pass out.Me not working going to school full time took the bate.Went to Krogers called Mr.Lucas and he told me tp send it to Angelie Chaulatan in the philipines.I did it like a fool and got played.He gave me a number that was going to assist me with the grant.The number was 202-657-5808 and I spoke to Mark Cooper.Mr.Cooper pretty much gave me the run around.Telling me it several people ahead of me.By this time I knew in my heart I was taken.So guess what?I called both numbers Lucas call sounded like bad rap on his phone and Mark was the recording from our lady friend.Needless to say I left them have some words.So please don't get taken if it sounds to good.YOU KNOW THE REST

Receive a call for a phillipian speaking gentlemen this morning saying he was calling from the US Federal
Govenment Human Health Services and I was one of the selected 10,000 individuals to receive $7000 grant which does not need to be paid back.  He gave me a confirmation number to pick up at a Western Union JR559.  To receive it, I would have to give him my birth date, and my debit card # or bank card # or have it sent to the Western Union for receipt.  I ask if this was a scam he said no.  I continue to prob him with questions, even asking to speak with his supervisor and he refused to do so.  I let my supervisor listen to the call and she said it's a scam.  Then I hung up.

I just got a call from 202-803-4719.  The caller had a very heavy accent and also claimed to be a representative of the US Department of Health and Human Services.  He started off his pitch with the claim that I had earned a $12,500 grant from the US Government because I was someone who always paid his bills and taxes on time.  When he started trying to get me to agree with him that I was someone who always paid on time, I cut him off telling him that I knew he was a scammer and that I would never fall for something like this, whether it was over the phone or through the Internet.

This is absolutely a scam, and it appears it's been going on for over two years.  I wonder why the FBI hasn't done anything about it.

I also got a call from a US Government  Grant Deptl with Health & Human Services in Washington , D.C. and I'm supposed to go to Western Union to receive 7,800. and give them 200. for a deposit then get 8,000. back, is this a real grant?

I just got a call  from 202-201-2419 from Tracy Jones saying I am to receive $7k and suppose to wait for a call from Nick Richards..........I smelled the scam from the first hello.  I am not going to fall for this.....how stupid do they think someone is to fall for this in this day and age?

I just received a call from an Unknown Number and the gal and guy had an Asian accent. They called saying that I have been selected to receive a free grant of $10,000 which is non-refundable and non-taxable. Initially I thought it to be a scam but the lure of money and the information they already had about me made me believe that it was true. They knew my name, most of my address (and I gave them the rest) and also knew the country I came from. At the end they said all I had to do was go to Western union and call their account manager from there to pay $99 in charity. I was also provided a Money Approval Id. I was ready to spend $99 for $10000 and I totally believed them until I stumbled across this site.

Why do people play with other's emotions and money.......I am so mad at this point !!  I needed the grant badly, I guess most of us do, but on top of that they will rob us of the money we already have???

I got a call from Shawn Hopkins (Indian accent) and was told that I had been selected for a $7000 grant that I didnt have to pay back at all. He told me it was because I have a clean record and Im a good tax payer. He said he was from the Dept. of Health and Human Services. And that I had to go to a Western Union to recieve my money. Also, I had to send $100 before I could get the money. I asked him what his name was, and he took ten seconds to say that it was Shawn Hopkins. I asked if that was really his name and he said yes. I asked him what his accent was and he said it was African. Also he is Malaysian. Who believes all this twaddle????

Apparently I have been selected to receive $5,000 grant from the government.

Got a call about a grant but the catch was sending $100 to India.

I received a call from a foreign woman stating that I had received a 7,800.00 grant, and I needed to give western union 200.00 as a security deposit, and I then would receive the money.   I filed a complaint with the FTC.  I am still getting the calls.

This is complete B.S. Wonderful Tracy Jones (Indian sounding woman) tells me I'm going to receive $7,000 dollars of grant money from the U.S. government. Then she confirms my name, address, date of birth, and tells me to call Nick Richards (another indian sounding person w/an American Name, but he's the Manager). So I call him and ask him whether this is something I have to pay taxes on. He says NO. Ok, fine.....then all of a sudden there is a one time processing fee of $270.00 that will go towards starving children, and other charities of people who are in need. Yeah, ok. Then I check out on-line who the hell this retard is and there's nothing about him whatsoever except that he keeps scamming people. I had called him back and told him I'm not going through with this because it's a scam, and he seemed so irritated that he hung up on me. It must be a bad day for him getting other people's hard earned money. Oh well. I really hope he gets caught. And for anyone else getting these ridiculous scam calls, please don't fall for the b.s.

i recieved my call today, its scary how they already have my information. i in fact, tricked them and told them to send it to a prepaid card that i have jus opened yet dont need and that they can send me my money, so if they try to take any of it out theres nothing there for them to have. this needs to be stopped and we really need them to stop calling our homes. i couldnt even understand the guy i was talking to but said to talk to his manager richard lee and he will wire my $7000 grant money for no cost at all but being a good person. i still dont trust this, wouldnt the government contact you in a better way than BLOCKED calls?!?!

My boyfriend got a call from a woman and was told that he was selected to receive a grant for $7000.  She took all his information, including his checking account and routing number, and was told that he needed to call a man named Richard Lee....Of course both of us are college students and are "scraping by" as it is so we were very excited and grateful for the opportunity.  Perhaps a little too excited.  Basically my boyfriend followed all the directions, including wiring the money ($100) to India (which to be honest didn't make a whole lot of sense).  After he wired the money, "Richard Lee" gave him a number to call and confirm that the money would be sent into his account.  Well when my boyfriend called the confirmation number it was not a working number.  So naturally he tried to call Richard back.  Guess what? NO ANSWER!!! Just a couple rings and then disconnected.  I was getting so frustrated that on my 20 minute drive to school I just kept pressing redial the whole way...hoping that maybe I could annoy the crap. out of them so they might answer. Sometimes it would ring twice and disconnect, sometimes it rang for 1-2 minutes.  4 hours later when I got out of class I tried to call back.  This time there was a voicemail hooked up to it.  My boyfriend left a message and got a call back today.  What a bunch of ridiculous people!  Needless to say I lost my temper and took over the phone call...The man and his "supervisor" treated me extremely disrespectfully.  The supervisor even told me that he f***ed me (and laughed) and that I didn't have a dick so I couldn't f*** him!  Don't talk to them!!!

I got a call from an unknown number several times this week so i decide to pick it up. It seems to be a lady who can't really speak good english and told me that i was choosen to get 7000 grant money and call (202)621-0809 and ask for richard lee and tell him my conformation number. At first i thoguht it was too good to be true since i am in need of money i called him to conform. I started to get very suspicious when he start saying that i will have to send 100 dollars to some kind of American charity before they could send me my 7000 dollars. First of all, it's grant money...why should i pay for grant money? Secondly, his name is Richard Lee, which means he should be asian because of his last name and he does not have an asian accent!!! Lastly...why use Western Union to send money instead of writing a check?????  Well yea it's all just a big fat SCAM!!!!!!!

I got a call from a Tracey Jones.. Who said, I was granted 7,000 dollars from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Grant Government.. She said, I needed to call this number 1-202-657-6347 and talk to a man named Nick Richards.. So I was curious and I called him.. He said, I needed to send him 100.00 dollars Western Union and I would receive 7,000 dollars after I send him the 100.00 dollars..I said, to him why would I Have to send you money if its a grant.. Why can't u send me the money by check. He said, It was to safe money.. And he said call him when I get to the bank and he would tell me what to do.. He also said, that to tell the workers there that I was receiving the money from a friend and not the government... I was like why would I Do that.. and this don't make any sense.. and I Hung up..

I got this same call today. I mistakenly gave them my address, but did not call these people.
