I received the same call they gave me a confirmation number but they want me to donate to get money that makes no fusing sense so donate 220 to recive 8400 but that makes no sense i told them to take it out of the ''free grant '' they said no so i never called back . beware of this fraud. from 2026663854 and 2024703920 their names are victoria smith and amanda lee as they  like to be called

Reported this to the department of treasury. when they called, i asked for the general number to the treasury dept, so i could call back... they all of a sudden had no affiliation with the dept of treasury... smh... gave the full shabang to them via email. i will be calling in the morning to follow up... many of you her, if not all, should do the same

They called me and told me that I was chosen for $400 from the Government. Well I work for the Army. This is all a hoax. I told them that I know people in high places and if they call me again that the FEDS will know about it.

They call me twice today, once a woman and then a man both with heavy accent, I just hung up, do not bother talking with this people.

Just got a call from this number im a student and thought it might be a good thing. Until I read these post. Told them I was in class to call back now im excited and waiting. Think ill let my boyfriend talk to them LOL. He is Tennessee redneck they wont know what to do

Like others, I received a call stating I'd gotten a government grant for $8400, but they needed my bank account info.  I hung up.

Same thing here...they called a bunch of times. I finally answered today and was told, by a woman I could barely understand, that I had been chosen to receive a government grant $8,000. I asked her if she needed my mailing address and she hung up. Hope they don't call again!

This # called me once so far. They said "Yes, Uhm... Is, Ya Know, Miss (last name) there?"
It sounded like a really bad australian accent, so i thought it was a prank from an old high school friend.
I didnt feel like going along with the prank so i just said UHMMMM....
They said HELLO then hung up.

I have been getting calls from this number for past week, I was told I was a 25 thousand dollar winner and they need more info.  I asked if they ned my credit card was told no but I was at work and never finished conversation.  Man seened real nice but thought I heard fedback in back ground, when I tried to call back later a recoeding ststed long list of calls with a busy signel!

They called and said I was also selected for an 8000 grant blah blah blah couldn't understand the t**** head. I said I'm not givin u my checkin account num. And he said I'm not askin for that. I said so how u gonna give me this grant then.....hmmmmm? He said uhhh and hung up. I'm tired of this bs!

Just got the same call, they call every damn day. Same as all the other posts, call center,  broken english, etc. The kicker is they asked for my 15 year old son who has never filed a tax return.

They just called me and said i've been chosen for an 8400.00 grant but had to have my visa card number as well as account number. Says they are calling on behalf of the U.S Government grant department and they will have the money in my account in less than an hour. Don't give out your info!! :)

Everyone including me that have received this call should call the FTC and give the number had same call today and turned them in just remember they will change their number thereafter and try again happened to me a month ago didn't hear from them until today just call FTC

i just got this call and told them to send a check they got real mad and told me thry had to have my account number i said no and they got rude so i called her a bad name and hung up would love to get grant money for free but know it is a scam

Just received a phone call from this number too. I let him do his spill and at the end I said I was not interested and he began yelling at me I told him he need to calm down and he kept it up. I said don't u have something better to do besides scamming people boy he was pissed and hung up.

12-13-13-just rec'd a call from this number...he mispronounced my first name-stated the same thing as the reports above-I have been randomly selected to receive a grant in the amt of $8400.00-because I pay my bills on time and I have not filed bankruptcy-I said OH REALLY?~!?~! He said yes let me explain to you and he rambled on about something...I said How about you mail me all this info you are telling me and I will check into it...yea he hung up....I feel sorry for the people that fall for this s***!

# has called four to five times a day - caller Id says Wasington, DC. Answered once and no one was their. Will not leave message on machine. Even picked up call and listened (sounded like a call center in background then hangs up). From previous posts ignor and hope they give up! Does not sound on the up and up!

12-13-13 i also received a call from this #; first clue was they misprounced my last name; second a heavily spanish accented male voice said he was with the US government and had $8400 free dollars for me out of some peculiar fund.  i told hm i was not interested and to remove me from any future calls. this call, incidentally, was made to my cell phone which relatively few persons have and may have stolen the # from some other source I am trying to track down.  Clearly A SCAM!

These people are absolutely ridiculous and every time they call I tell them to stop and they shout and whine into the phone. They are harassing and rude.
