They called to say I was selected to receive a grant of $8,400.00 they wanted a bank account number or credit card number to deposit the money I said I did not have either and then they hung up on me

I kept getting calls from the same phone number. I finally answered it and it was someone that barely speaks English and told me that the government granted me money. Yeah right!!!! So I told them to stop calling me or I would report them. They hung up. So I blocked the phone number 202-666-5433. Then yesterday I got another call from a different number 202-666-5799 same thing. So I blocked that one also. SCAM!!!!!

This guy has called twice to tell me that he's from the Department of Defense in DC and that my name has come up for a grant for$8400.   Definite scam!!!

This number, as well as another similar number from DC, has called me several times. Today I answered and she asked for "Karen." I said "wrong number," and she responded "NO." I said "Excuse me? Are you looking for a Karen?" Her response was "yes." I again said "then you have the wrong number." Then she so "politely" said "F*** YOU" and hung up.

How do I make this number stop calling me?

I got a call from the number (202) 666-5433 saying that the US Treasury was sending me $400 that I won in a random drawing. I said no thank you and hung up.

This number called me multiple times and I finally answered. There was an Asian man that asked for a D'Anthony. I told him he had the wrong number and he called me a liar. Then he proceeded to tell me he was with the FBI. He said he was coming to my house to arrest me. He finally hung up.

Its the Devil due to location and number of the prefix. "666 number of the Beast!"

I received the same government grant scam.  I told him I was on the 'do not call list' and to take me off his list.  He said that would cost me $50.  Why all of a sudden is this crap starting???  Anyone???

I received a call from this number today in a telephone number that was just activated Monday 4/14/2014. Stated that the US Treasury Dept had chosen me to receive a grant of $8,000.00 and needed my checking, savings or debit/credit card info to send the money. When I told him that I had none of the above he said I could go buy one and they would call me back at a time convenient to me. Told him the US Government issue checks all the time and to just send me a check. He hung up.

Called me everyday for a week. I finally answered and A foreigner claiming to be working in the US government treasuries office. He told me I had a grant waiting on me for $8400. The grant is called loyalty financial supple Grant. He said it's grant money I can use to start a business or by personal things like a car. He wanted my checking account information and or credit card information. On another note I really wish it was this easy to get $8400

This Caller-ID number has been calling my cell phone every single day for weeks. I answered the first time, and there was a din of noise in the background indicating that it was definitely some sort of Boiler-Room Operation telemarketing center. A male voice with a very thick accent [of unknown origin] asked, "Can I talk to Kelly?" I replied, "There is no Kelly here." He retorted in an angry tone, "Yes there is! But I will talk to you. You have money coming from a lawsuit, all we need is some personal information to complete your pay-out." Yeah. Sure, buddy. I immediately used some carefully selected and intelligibly enunciated English words to encourage them to remove my number from their call list and never call my number again. They've never not called a day since. They never leave a message. After the 3rd time, I added them to my phone's auto-reject list, and every single day since I still get phone notifications that the same number has called and been auto-rejected.

These ppl have been calling me all morning. They told me they were some government agency n asked if I was Elizabeth. I for one am not easily scammed so I told him no. The Indian sounding man who called himself Anderson proceeded to yell at me saying that I was lying. When I asked him to tell me again his government affiliation he hung up on me

I got a call from this number he said he's calling from the US government and I'm qualify for a $8000 grant. He then ask for my bank info when I told him in not giving that he hang up on me.

just called at 2;53 today the caller id says district of columbia, yesterday they called three times with different numbers  202 77 5433, 202 499 1488 and 202 6668450.  when i answered last night foreigner asked for my husband, I asked who was calling and he said david from the treasury department.

I got repeated phone calls from this number which I declined to answer. However, after the 5th call I picked up. The caller (foreign) said am I speaking to Kimberly? When I replied "no, you have the wrong number" before I could even finish he said "you b***s***, you b***s***" and then hung up. How are these people getting our numbers??

They call me with the same thing, it has been over a month since it started. They use different numbers from all over the U.S. and call me from 8am-8pm every day. They call at least once per hour. It is always a foreign person trying to give me a grant and get my bank account info. They just called me 3 times in one hour with this one number, it will probably switch to a new number now.

Scam!  Told me I got a grant for 8,400 from the government but needed to give them my credit card info or bank account info.

I got a call from this number numerous times and I finally answered to tell them to quit and the foreigner asked me if I was anti Christ, I asked him if he was serious...I asked why he kept calling my number and did he think I was that stupid to get scammed, he said he was in love with me! I said lose this number and never call me again! he called back, said that I was daughter of Lucifer, I cussed him out! I hang up again! he calls back, I told him that the conversation was now being recorded then he started babbling and then hung up! DO NOT answer a call from DC area code... EVER

I have received calls from this number several times on my cell phone.  I have limited minutes on my cell phone as it is used for emergency only.  I wish there was some way to stop these calls and the numerous calls to my land line that I get.  I thought that was what the Do Not Call Registry was for.  Apparently one is wasting their time even signing up for that.
