Recieved another call lastnight 05/27. This time they talked to my wife. They told her that I owe them money and if I didn't pay they would take the money from her. My wife told them good luck. I dont appreciate them threatening my wife and I do not appreciate them calling me.

Received a call from Jasmine (pronounced Jazzmeen with an Eastern Indian accent) this morning stating she was from the United States Treasury Dept. She said my name had been drawn to receive a grant... Before she finished I interrupted her with "yeah right!", and hung up. I research the phone number on the Internet and found myself writing this. Such a shame. If everyone working so hard to do evil worked together for the greater good, we would all live in a better world. It just gets worse.

Says they were calling from the District of Columbia 'Grant' department

Yep. They called me TWICE today. The second time I picked it up. The guy said he was from the federal government. I said, "Really? If that was true, you would know that I am on the federal government's Do Not Call List and wouldn't have bothered calling me". The next telemarketer is getting a whistle blown in their ear!

This number has called a number of times since yesterday and would hang up upon my answering.  We finally spoke and I told him I wasn't a citizen when he told me the U.S. Treasury had accepted me for a grant.  He asked me why I wasn't a citizen and I told him I wasn't born in the country and had just moved here.  He said, "Thank you and have a nice day. " I haven't been called since.  

Seems to have helped with him calling and I had a good laugh from it.

This is most definately a scam they wanted my account info to transfer money immediately to my acct. $8400 for a FEE of $215 DO NOT DO THIS AS YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!!! I can't imagine the US treasury sending out free money without filling out some kind of application, These people are so annoying because they continue to constantly call and they want the money transferred to a Green Dot card that cannot be traced anywhere. How dumb do they really think people are????

Received call from this number and said I was entitled to $8000 grant and all I would have to do is give her Credit Card #, I would receive $400 credit in 30 minutes, and then they would call me back with additional instructions on how to get the rest. What a scam! I stayed on the phone just to play for a while, but hung up on her. Never gave any info. Her name was Kim Cooper calling from Washington, DC. with Indian accent. Called number back and get recording that all circuits are busy. When is our government going to put a stop to this stuff. We have the NSA listening to everything else. Let them find out where they are calling from and shoot a drone right in there!!!

They call my number at least 6 times per day.  I added them to my contact list as Big Scam, so every time they call, I ignore it.  How flipping stupid do these offshore people think you are?  Loan with no payback? Yeah, sure.

Received a call from this number and the woman said I was selected by the government to receive $400. I told her that doesn't make sense, because the government is in the business of taking money not giving it away...she hung up on me...hmmm wonder why??? Hahaha...completely ridiculous!

These idiots crack me up. They say their name is John but they have a distinct accent from India or that region. I use to be in telemarketing and I know all of the tricks and treats of the industry. Half of it is legitimate and the other half is a scam. Fortunately for me.I worked for legitimate firms but we were just as amnoying calling people and trying to sell them things that some pepple wanted to buy but most people didnt want. I was never rude ir vulger to people who didnt want to nuy our product, I simply thank them and hung up. These people called me and told me I was going to receive a scholarship from the government for $12,000 and there was no need to pay it back. I told him to remove me from his list and not to call again. The guy then asked me what the hell is wrong with me then called me an a***ole. And then said I was an American a***ole. Such a scam don't answer this number!

They are horrassing me keeps calling every five mins i wont answer it.

Same thing happened to me this morning. He told me that they were going to transfer $8, 000 to my account. He told me about how I had no criminal records so on and so on. The Federal Government doesn't call you about that. They never call at all. A pure scam. He gave me another number and a name to call. I called it and asked for that person.   A man laughed and said noone lives here by that name.

A foreign man said he was from the US Government and wanted to give me $1400 in the form of a bank transfer. He said that my name came up because I had no criminal convictions in the last six months. He said this was a one time only opportunity. He asked for my banking information so he could transfer the money today 5/23/14. I told him I don't have a bank account and if I did, I wouldn't give out that kind of information over the phone. I asked him to send the funds to my address. He said he couldn't do that. So, I asked for his supervisor and then he hung up. SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS SCAMMERS !!!

They are a scam. They finally were on the other side and said they were calling from the Department of the US Treasury telling me I was approved for an 8,000 grant to redecorate my home. Hahahaha

Exact same thing happened to me I asked her to take my name off the list and she shouted "never, ever" I asked to speak to her manager and she said no I just ended up hanging up tried calling back and got the circuits busy message too... Someone has too much time on their hands!

This caller said they were calling on behalf of the United States Treasury department. They definitely were not Americans since the accent was definitely from India. They said they had a $8,000 grant check for us. I asked to be taken off the caller list and she said she would keep calling me until the sun keeps coming up????

Called several times. I finally answered. Foreign male asked for me by name.  Sounded like a call center in background. I told him wrong number, then he asked for my name. I promptly hung up. Next time its a rape whistle in your ear, bub.

This number kept calling my father cell phone but when he pick up, they keep hang up the phone. I just want to know who the person is
