This number called me on my cell phone and left me a voicemail.  It is a sales call trying to get you to take out a loan.

I also received this call stating it was for a grant from wealthy people and that I was to call 202-683-1404 and that it was a capital hill office. I figured I would get online and check it out before I contacted the # or the websit that it gave me. Glad I did.

I know this is a bit out there but are we all democrats? Because none of my Republican pals have gotten this call, only the Dems. The keywords here are "grants from WEALTHY people." I got that infamous call to vote on WED. for Obama and wondered how that could be, since I have moved 3 times and have had 3 different home phone numbers in 6 months. But again, it was on my cell. Maybe this is crazy but it was my Repub. pal who came up with this idea!

I received a call today from 202-683-1422. They left me a voicemail saying to call 202-683-1404. I made a complaint with the national do not call registry.

Call came when I was expecting an important business call.
There was no response when I answered saying Hello to the person I expected.

I had an idea the other day. What if all us Cattle or suckers every time we received a telemarketer call; used one of those air horns that they use at sporting events and blared it directly into the receiver? Especially after logging in with the do not call list and telling them not to call. If enough people used the air horn, they might get the hint!!

I got this call at 9:30 pm on a Saturday night for one if it was real buisness people dont do there business let alone at night but not a Saturday night i'm going to go make a complaint on the dnc

I got a call this morning, 4:58 a.m. on a Sunday morning!!! OMG, do these people know how to tell time?!?! Granted, I'm in Hawaii, and the time difference can be somewhat confusing but use your brain(oh, my bad...you obviously don't have one) and don't call anyone at that time or at anytime on a Sunday!  No message was left and the call back number(caller id) didn't work.

This number calls increasingly.  No message, just a fuzzy background.

I got one too at 11:45 pm on 9/11/08!  Waaaaaaay to late for anything but a family emergency on a weeknight!  I registered a complaint with the DNC too!

I got an automated call sometime today from this outfit also.  My number is unlisted and has been on the "Do Not Call" register from the first day it started.  I just filed a complaint with the registry.  I encourage anyone else on the DNC register to file a complaint as well.  Let's shut this shyster site down.

yeah got his call at 12am last night, didn't answer..... I tell ya I could rip these people a new one... most of us work ya know? My husband gets up at 4am and me at 5am...... I'm on the do not call list too....

I received a call today regarding the cash grant institute and it is very annoying. The call was also from 202-683-1422.

called me at 1134 AT NIGHT...1234 am in dc. who conducts biz at that hour. i returned the call the next day...and it's the cash grant institute directing me to a website if i want a grant.

got a call from 202-683-1422. No one on the other end.  I had signed my number up for the no call list apparently that doesn't work.

someone called me from this number at these times 11:32 PM, 12:00 am, 12:30 am, 1:00 am, 1:30 am, 2:00 am, 2:30 am, 3:00 am, 3:30 am!!!!!!!!!!!!they need to stop this now!!!!

They called me at 11:34 pm.  Didn't know the number so didn't answer.  They did leave a message saying they were from the Cash Grant Institute and claiming it is not a telemarketing call.  Told me to go to requestagrant.com with a a valid email and phone number.  The return number left was 202-683-1404, The Capitol Hill office.  The message also said that I am qualified to receive grants from wealthy people.  This is the first time I've ever gotten a solitation call this late at night.

Got a call from this number, and heard only fuzz in the background, no one ever answered. Not the first time I have been called by this number.

Cash Grant Institute claiming it is not a telemarket then lets me know all the ways that they are going to help me since I am qualified to receive grants and money from wealthy people.  It could be the OBAMA campaign though not really sure.  Just a joke but yes it is a crap call.

Tell them that you are herby warning them to issue further communication via writing ONLY and that if they call you again they are breaking the telecommunications act and you will report them to the police.

Also make sure you tell them you record your calls for security purposes - even if your actually not.

But try recording them. This company will make your life hell if you let them.

Do your research and be in control. If your not comfortable doing this tell them what I said above and hang up. If they call you more than 3times in 1 day this is breaking the law. and they are only allowed to call between 7am-9pm.

Do your reserch search "The Consumer action group" on google, you can find all the laws and info put simply on there.

BEWARE, DON'T EVEN CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY/NAME TO THEM ON THE PHONE.
