I also received the same text message promising the $1000 giftcard from Walmart if I clicked on the link: http://promodaygiveaway.com/walmart.
You can bet your butt I did not click on the link.  I'm positive it is a scam of sorts.

I also received this text message but didn't dare go to the web page on my phone in case it was sum kind of bug or virus so I just saved it until I got on the computer to see what exactly it was.  Ever since I received it and saved it, my phone has been doing some crazy stuff including freezing, shutting itself down, and the buttons not doing their correct function.  I deleted it as soon as I started reading all the other messages posted here regarding that text.  Hope my phone goes back to normal now and isn't permanently messed up!!!!!!

Got the same message on my phone last night.  When I got to work this morning there was a notification/warning from out IT deptartment saying this was a scam telling us not to respond and delete the message immediately.

I just got a text saying I won 1000 Walmart card I didn't answer I personally think it's a scam but I've only had my phone for a day how did they get my personal number

I got the samething last nite got a txt message sayin put in card i think its all bull to tell u the true.

I just got the same thing early this morning, and I'm confused about what to do with it..

Just got a call on my mobile phone saying I'd won a $1000 Walmart giftcard. At the website I was asked for a lot of contact info, which I did not supply.  And there is a tiny option to "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of the page.  When clicking on it, I am asked for my phone number, but I'm afraid to enter it.
