I have called back 1/2 dozen times and asked them to remove my from their calling list - doesn't work.

202-800-5604 calls me multiple times per day, unsolicited, without leaving a message. There is no excuse for this. It is sleazy marketing.

I've been getting about two calls from this number per day for about a month now. It's not in my contact list, so I thought it was a wrong number. Glad I got all this info, this number's going directly to my block list now.

Also getting these calls for months. How does one go about getting the $11,000 per call for a number that is on the FTCs do not call list?
| BR 2013-05-18 14:35:50 Unknown |
Keep getting calls from this # - only rings 2x and stops at least every other day. They never leave a message.

I get these calls several times a day. This evening I decided to answer. She began by saying its not a sales call, and let me know I will begin receiving free Sunday inserts. She said she needed to confirm I'm not already a subscriber. Free inserts sound good - but I hope confirming my non-subscriber status doesn't come back to bite me....

They just called my cell phone and of course, no message. I am not nor ever was a subscriber to the Washington Post.

I answered the phone, the representative ask for someone I have not heard of or know I requested they stop calling me. So annoying!!!!!

It's the Washington Post calling to get you to subscribe again if you canceled your subscription in the past year. They're now on my reject list.

You are correct. The Washington Post has contracted with this company to contact subscribers or former subscribers to offer deals. One deal is to Sunday only to try and convince them to upgrade to a daily subscription. Another is x number of weeks of daily papers for the cost of Sundays to former subscribers. The DNC law does not cover these calls if you are a subscriber or less than 18 months since being a subscriber has passed. If you request to be removed from their list they are supposed to comply but often do not or it takes a long time

Non-stop calls at least twice a day everyday even on weekends. Calls from 202-800-5529, 202-800-5604. VERY IRRITATING. Once I called back and only received an answering machine saying this was Landmark and they do marketing (more like grey-area tele-spam!) and to leave a message if you would like to be taken off of their "subscriber" list or whatever. I did, thinking what does it matter if they already have my number anyways..... Well, hasn't helped a bit and am still getting continued daily calls.
Also, upon a little research I did, this company has something to do with the Washington Post using this lousy company as a sort of marketing strategy (a terrible decision imho), outsourcing it all to them. I could be mistaken but am 90% sure that WaPo is one of the companies using Landmark's biz. Write and complain about the problem directly to WaPo....they probably don't realize the harassment this company is using and the more people who complain, the more this will be taken seriously.
HTH.

Yes, me too. ID says "Landmark Telese" - they have been calling me off and on for ages. So annoying.

They have been calling me too. I know its telemarketing because they never leave a message and they call me twice a day
