Yes, I did received a call from 202-864-1155. It was recorded message, in regard to IRS taxes. I also received a call from 530-535-1331. Message was left on my answering machine twice. I did got concern . My taxes are done by CPA but still called IRS direct because I did not trust the caller. I was told my IRS that
my account was OK and there is nothing to worry. I told them about the caller and gave them phone number but I was told that I should hang up if he call again. I thought that IRS does not want to do a thing
in this matter. I also called local police and I was told that if he calls again, I should hang up. I am not too happy with this reply. I wanted  to do something. I talked to one of the legislator and he told me that if
I collect 10 people with recorded message, he can help me to take some actions. I already have a message on my machine and looking for nine people with this fraud. I am sure we all get together, we definitely can do something. There could be some people could be victim of this fraud. Will appreciate your help.. I am a AARP volunteer and AARP is also warning people to be careful with this kind of scam. I am and you are saved and it is good but think about people who has and will be
victims of this scam. Help me All I need is your story and recorded message.

Just received a message from this number, I didn't hear the whole message, caller had an accent.  Message said I needed to call back or have my attorney call back or he wouldn't be able to help me.  Googled the number and ended up here.  Clearly a scam.

Just received call from this numer caller said his name is Adam from IRS need to call back asap. I called back ask why did you call my home I  told him i called irs they don't know  about this call and he  hang up. Try to call couple of time get message all circuit are busy Please be careful about this call do not give any personal  info like id address ss etc

Just received a message from this number. He had an accent as well, didn't catch his name. He said I needed to call right away or else he couldn't help me. Don't know what he was referring to. Also I think it's a recorded message because they accidentally left the exact same message twice in a row, same inflections and everything.

There is a fairly common IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers in both Canada and the USA.

Received a call from Adam said he's an inspector at the IRS and that we had a case filed against us.  He refused to tell me more - that he needed to talk to my husband.  Would not verify his office, send me to a manager, nothing.  Seemed scammy so I googled the number and ended up here.

Recd a call saying this is Adam xxx inspector at IRS. He had an accent that is somewhat British- maybe some commonwealth country. He said: "It is time sensitive. Either you or your attorney should call immediately. If I do not hear from you, I wish you good luck."
I had a similar call a few months ago. Went to Voorhees police. They said they could not do anything. Just ignore the call.
