2nd time I received this a call from this number out odf Stmford. Decide to look up the number...do not call my cell.

I tracked the ultimate service provider of this # to Earthlink. I called Earthlink Business to discuss the fraudulent use of their network. I was told this # was "sold" with a bundle of #s to a company which it then in turn sells them to others. The woman I spoke to indicated this was not the first complaint for this #, and she would follow up. She honestly seemed truly disturbed that this obvious fraudulent behavior, and likely identity theft, was being done via her employer.

Best bet is to *67 and call them back 20 times. Leave the phone by a radio and enjoy THEM getting a useless call.

Also received annoying call  from this guy at this number . Also asking for information regarding job opportunities and referring to online survey which I did not take. Felt like call was being recorded

Just got a call from this number.. didnt answer and no voicemail... sad thing is, im waiting for a call about a job in stamford ct, so this call got me excited... and turns out its just crap.

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number, but when I answered, there was no one there.  Bad enough they call my home number; now I'm paying for calls on my cell phone!

Received a call from same number "about employment opportunities".  I hung up telling the male never to call my number again.

I saw this number on my cell as a missed call. I was waiting for a call from someone who's number I did not have in front of me so I returned the call only to get a recording which I did not listen to, just hung up.
I later called from a land line, which may have identified my number and company, the person answered and said he was WM Capital. I said I had wrong number and hung up.

Called my cell saying I had indicated I wanted info on jobs which I do not.

Same exact experience as everyone, wondering how they're getting our cell numbers.  Would like to report him, guess I'll go to the Do Not call FCC site and file a complaint.

Got a call today from the number, I never answered, but showed up as Stamford, CT. Typed the Number into Yahoo and that's how I got here to this forum.

Same here......call came from Stamford, CT.  I have a 203 area number on my cell phone but haven't lived in CT for years.

Same as all of these....from Stamford CT  .   Called back and was pre recorded deal about job opportunities.

Received a call from this number this afternoon. I could not answer, but they did not leave a message anyway.

It's a robo call from a job placement service with a Stamford CT number, called wn positions. They said I indicated I was interested in job opportunities which is false, I haven't searched for a job in over 2.5 years. I never pick up unknown calls you will hear this message when you call back. Aparently people online are complaining about them to government agencies.

Got same call from same number on my "do not call"-registered cell phone. They use a computer that randomly dial numbers; when the call goes to a voicemail system their computer automatically hangs up the call but someone answers they try to get you to tell them personal/private info, usually to do identity theft.

Got a call. Did not answer. No message

Got a call at 11:56am today from this #.
No one there when I answered.
Decided to look up the number and found this site.

This number called my cell yesterday and I missed it. Called again today and all I heard was a click and a recorded goodbye. My cellphone said it was a call from Stamford, CT.

Guy calling from "WN Positions" and said I filled out a survey. Bull. Told him I didn't remember filling one out. He said "Yeah, I'm from ... W .... N ... Positions. That's W as in William, N as in Nickel." I said, "Thanks, I can spell." Click, and he hung up. I have a CT number but haven't been back there for 12 years, so they must be trolling through numbers at random. Call to my cell phone.It appeared to be a local call, so I answered.After a moment's delay a live American accented male voice  said "HI I 'm Joseph,I'm calling about the online survey you completed." Stalling for a thought, I said "who" ? He hung up. It's really sad honest people have to be so careful and think the worst of every interaction on a daily basis.

Just received a call from this number and just as the posts listed above state, the guy said he was calling in response to a survey I took online.  I didn't take any online survey, told him I didn't know what he was talking about and hung up.  I also am on the do not call registry...I think that's a joke too!

just got the call as well. im in farmington, ct so a call from stamford wouldnt be a real stretch. couldnt answer it though while i was working but im sure it was gonna be a b/s call

definitely a recording the whole time.  it gives enough gaps so that it allows you to answer - you assuming they are waiting for you response.  all info as above i heard.
