I'm in the same situation i financed one and my mom too this scott guy is out in salem nh now i believe there scam artist the head broke they told me it was new when i know its not

i agree they are scam artist they dont sell u new vacuum they tell u to tell the finace company that there leaving the one they came to your house with when they really are not they say we will get u a new one ya bull its refurbished so your paying 2000 for a refurbished vacuum they are nothing but scam artist they say one thing and do another very unprofessional they are SCAM artist big time be carefully plssss i am cancel my payment option to bad iI DONT KNOW HOW THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT

They tell u that u will earn $500/wk what  they don't tell u is that u have tp go on 15 appts to get it....even if they don't have the appts  to give u....besides that it takes 4-5 hrs to sell that damn thing...what a waste of time....

I was the personnel manager there for years and I can give you all the truth.  Scott Zabka is a piece of s***, no doubt about it.  The job sucks and most people will lose money while working there.  I personally made a killing beacuse i treated my customers with respect and earned business the old fashioned way - with hard work and integrity.  Noone is going to get 15 appts in a week, and we made sure of that.  The vacuum is so freaking heavy that i dont even use one in my home and i worked there for 1.5 years.  I feel bad for every last person that I interviewed and hired/ wasted their time.  And it is 100% true that Scott Zabka only pays $300 for the Kirby and then sells them for over $2000 if the customer is dumb enough to buy it.  Just stay clear of this company for your own good.  I constantly regret my time at SZ and apologize to anyone who got scammed.

I bought a Kirby from S.Z Enterprises  and was basically sold a used vacuum cleaner that they were trying to pass off as Brand New, I also read complaints about them doing that also that they sells used ones and pass them off as new. I called Kirby themselves this morning because I needed to find an authorized repair place so I took the vacuum cleaner there and told them I needed a new belt, the gentleman took the old belt off and put a new belt on, he came back with the old belt and said " This is not a kirby belt" and , the belt was never changed in the 2 years that we bought it,  it read HOOVER on it, so not only did they sell me a used vacuum cleaner they also sold me one that had the wrong part.  I called their complaint dept and they kept telling me this was my fault that I never contacted them sooner, This is all new to me, never bought anything from a door to door salesman, I was never give a Manual like they said I should have gotten, they told me there was a number on my contract I should have called and the only number on the contract was from the financial institution that we financed the vacuum cleaner from.  I also just found out that this past week S.Z Enterprises closed its doors.  GEE I WONDER WHY

the number that has been repeatedly calling my home is 203-799-0555. They called 7 times and finally left a message for a name that does not exist claiming that there is an invoice due of @2000+. Not sure what I'll do about it, but calling the BBB is first on the list.

they are a kirby vacuum sales business.  pure kirby...they use the kirby to clean your carpet and furniture and then wheel and deal you for 3+ hours to buy it for $2000 and ask you to trade in your current vacuum cleaner which you will never see again if you decide to cancel the 3-day-only contract!!  beware!  do not allow sz enterprises to get in your door! (to say the least i kept my vacuum...i heard they refurbish and resell them even after they tell you it's terrible and doesn't work!) kirbys cost about 800 maximum and weight about 25 pounds.  they are good at sucking up dirt, but they are unwieldy, heavy and they are difficult to use as far as the extensions go.  i have heard too much to be a believer!!

I am getting calls on Sunday from a rude woman who is profane when I tell her that i AM NOT INTERESTED.   Sz Enterprise 203-794-4174.  I am on a no call list and will report them to the State Attorney Generals office.  I am an attorney and am punative monetary damages under CT State Law.  Contact me if you are interested in joining a CLASS ACTION against them.

This woman said that a friend, whose name they had, regostered me for a gift certificate for a free carpet, upholstery or hardwood floor cleaning. I guess it's just your basic telemarketing company.

Woman called, said I was NOT here, said she's calling about a friend (had a name of my friend) and would call back.

Woman called saying that Kirby is moving into my area and that they chose my address as one of the lucky ones to get a free carpet cleaning.  I asked her if I could call her back and she said that her number would only be busy.  This is not a real business.
DO NOT TRUST A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER!!!

There are 2 ways S Z Enterprises gets your number. One is buying it 100% completly legal. From banks, insurences companys, etc. If you do not want you name and number to be for sale there is a do not call list. IF  you are on said list and are still being called take it up with the people whos job it is to be keeping your info off the list in the first place, because the peole calling you are just.doing there job, and trying to make a living just like everyone else in this world. And yes they call on sundays.........to offer you a free cleaning SO RELAX people!
The second way they get your numbers is off of referals. When they do a demo (free cleaning and advertising of  the kirby) the reps ask for other friends or family who might be interested in getting a free cleaning or seeing the kirby. IF you do not know the person who refered you, thats your own     problom because that means there is a stranger giving out you name and number. Honestly tho you should just cut your losses because it is a good product, it IS for sale but if you dont buy it you SHOULD still get a free cleaning out of it, and no suprize bill in the mail for a cleaning 2 weeks later, like most "free" offers out there. And yes this vacuum is the best at sucking up dirt......because thats what vacuums are made for! No there not the easyst to move but nothings perfect. And people if you dont wanna spend your "hard earned mony" on a kirby then dont! Its pretty easy not to. As for kirby sales men, for god sakes people, If you hate them that much show them the door, ITS YOUR HOUSE!  GROW SOME BALLS!
As for any job in the world, there are ppl who do it the right way, and ppl who do it the wrong way. If someone is overly push on the phone, they are doing there job the wrong way and giving S Z a bad name. If you pick up the phone and start screaming at someone just for calling you on a sunday your rude, your classless, and Your doing it wrong.
The best way to get S Z to stop calling you is to pick up the phone hear them out- and if you, 100% cant use any of there services politly but fermly tell them off your list or throw away the gift certificet. And fyi everying in the office is done by hand, so they dont just put your name into a computer, so they cant just take it out. Then if they call again, tell them nicely how long ago you were called.

Well, let's see how does kirby stay in business.  Sell an average product incredibly above the market price with a very high multiple of return . . . let's say a couple thousand percent above market value.  This can only relate to large profits/earnings in a pyramid corporation.  A few suckers buy them and wolah - you have extremely large profits that keep these idiots employed.  Hmm now there are always ways to sucker old ladies and the lonely this company will live forever because there is an endless supply of people willing to sustain rediculous markets similar to cable, telephone, high energy prices in electric oil and gas, insurance, medical expensive eyeware etc.  We just sit back and complain and do nothing to reign these a**H*l*es that screw americans out of their hard earn money.  Otherwise knows as destruction of wealth and transfer of wealth; hence Bernie Madoff, Thaine, Fuld, GM, Ford, United Auto Workers, etc. etc.

I am getting calls daily from 203-795-5063 and 203 795 7584 SZ Enterprice. Everyday even the weekends. I cant stand it. How do I get rid of these a**holes? Thank God for caller ID.

anybody could easily knock a business, especially if they haven't a clue as to what it truely is... from inside experience i have noticed that the people who take this time to complain obviously must really be upset or have no life or anything better to do with themselves...if this company was as terrible as they said, how the hell do you think they are still in business and going strong? And by using only word of mouth advertisment? guess the majority of opinons out way the negative comments by far... kirby has been kicking a** longer than they have been alive... so that may shed some light on those negative attitudes and people who may have been influenced by them.

most of that info is wroung. its not 26 percent interest. in fact its less than most credit cards. also was incorparated in 2002. and we sell the machines for 2000 dollars because there worth that much and they will save you thousands in the long run.

If you work there you are a worthless human being.  I AM on the government do not call list, that has not stopped your wretched company.  I have received anywhere from 3- 10 calls a day for months and every time I tell you to remove me from you list.  When my 11 year old daughter picks up the phone she always asked "Who may I tell her is calling?" and "May I ask what the call is in regards too?"...your caller responded with mumbles to the first question and refused to answer the second question unless she confirmed she was me and then hung up.  You have also called well beyond the 8 AM to 9 PM restrictions and woken my 3 year old and 7 year old.  Your company is a scam.  I have pulled my phone records and now record all phone conversations I have with your company.  I have already recorded one conversation where I tell you to stop calling.  I look forward to the next, when I can press harassment charges.

You're slightly incorrect, but let me briefly explain so everyone knows how it works.

Scott Zabka is the owner of a factory distributor for Kirby. Kirby company itself just sells the vacuums to distributors, and distributors more or less operate the way they choose from that point in.

Scott Zabka (SZ Enterprise) is located in Orange, CT. There are many distributors in CT alone, and a few work under SZ. The telemarketers are paid $8.50/hr (so they sure don't care to act nice to you on that kind of pay) and are located at the SZ Enterprises bldg in Orange, CT at 273 Indian River Rd. So the sales people who sell Kirby vacuums, as well as the telemarketers are all there in one place. Other distributors in the state are located in other towns.

Put ALL your phone #'s on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.  It can take up to 30 days BUT IT WORKS 99% of the time.

This is definitely KIRBY VACUUM CLEANERS using a telemarketing co.

When I informed them that we are ON the above list and would be reporting them, she sniffed.

I said:  Consider YOU and your company reported!

Further, your company will know who it was I reported:  I am sending the # and EXACT time of the call to my phone to the above GOVERNMENT authorities.

Listen everyone i worked for this company for a few days in total... its the Kirby Company... the way they advertise is just by word of mouth. They get names of homeowners and call them constantly unless you tell them to take you off their list...

Everyone is really forceful because they are told to be. Horrible place. DONT SAY YES!!
