I recently ordered the Obama coins. I think this place just purchases info from other locations. I called back from my work phone and the recording gave me the closed at 5pm routine. I am on the DNC list also and I will be calling them back tomorrow. Don't want to have to look them up if they take some of my money. They don't give a company name on their recording.

Caller ID showed LIPENWALD INC.. They left no message, I didn't answer either.

Just got a call on my cell phone from this number and since I did not recognize it, I did not answer it. Instead I looked it up and found this site.I am glad I didn't have to get rude.

This number just called my cell phone! I did not answer due to the out of town area code. They did not leave a message. Did a search and found this blog!!! Love the blogs, it keeps the idiots off my phone!!

I just got a.call from.this number and he said he was with new england mint. I ordered a two dollar bill back last nov. After telling mebwho he was with and thanked me for my order, which I then informed him I never recieved it after paying for it. It never came and everytime I called they would never answer or be closed. Then the guy hung up on me.

They also do the banana giant scam that says they from michigan but credit comes up with this place in Connecticut.

It brought me here.  After reading this it's obviously an advertising company if some kind.  I recently ordered an item off from a TV ad (on-line) & another item found ob-line.  Are they calling to follow up or solicit more business.  They had to have sold a list with my information on it!!! But I Sm also on DNC registry.

This is a marketing company called Lipenwald, Inc. somewhere in Connecticut. Had a call at dinnertime. We NEVER answer calls during dinner. When we checked caller ID the name given was the Lipenwald, Inc. name and the above phone #. Don't know what they were selling, and probably don't need what they are selling. Besides, I never purchase anything over the telphone unless I made the call myself to the company and know their product(s) well.

A lady asked to speak to my husband; I noticed the phone # was not one that either of use, so I hung up.

Got call of this number 1-jun-2011 6:00pm, i also order a 2 dollar Bill, but I finish canceling my credit card because they don't stop sending items and charging my credit card their names are New England Mint but they have more company names.. Good luck to all!!

Got a call last night.  No message left.  Never have bought anything off of the TV.  Have no idea how they aquired my business cell phone number.  It is listed on DNC list and is unlisted and caller ID blocked.

Just got a call from them on my cell phone and did not answer. I am on DNC lists.  I have not ordered anything from anyone nor have I been on Craig's List for ANYTHING.  Too much scam and crime involved.

Got a call from this number today.  I was in a meeting, so I didn't answer.  No message was left.

Got a call from this number saying something about me buying seeds of some sort.  Asked for personal info and verify my credit card infor.  I just hung up and relaying info to my bank.

I have received a couple of calls from this number recently.  I have ordered some tomato plants recently off of an internet website.  I have also received several calls from an 866 number.  I have tried calling both numbers back, the 203 number said "Our normal business hours were M-F 8am-5pm."  However, it was just a few minutes after when they called me.  The 866 number alarmingly knew my first and last name.  I looked them up as well, and others have had charges on their cards unknowingly come off.  What a scam.  All this since some recent tomato plants were ordered.  I sure hope they produce...

I didn't order Blueberry plants, but I did order some tomato plants recently online.  I guess I will just have to cancel my debit card and get a new one.  I have received calls from this number, and an 866 number frequently, and regularly.

I ordered one of those September 11th Gold Plated 100 dollar things from late night tv, I went to their website to order, and It's been 1 1/2 months since I ordered it and I haven't gotten my item yet, and this person called acting like they were from "the mint" and When I told them I still hadn't gotten my item yet, he wanted to send me 3 other items to my home for review and if i liked them I could keep them and be billed for,.....................and if i did keep them i'd have to pay and if not send them back, i said "no first of all i didn't get my first item yet" .......................and he said "Okay Bye" and hung up, I tried to call back and no one answered, answering machine WITH THE SAME GUYS VOICE AS THE ONE I HAD JUST TALKED TO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God I didn't give them a real credit card but prepaid DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO!!!!!!!!

Woman asked for my husband.  I asked what it was regarding..she said she was calling because he had ordered blueberry plants...Told her I know we didn't order any blueberry plants and hung up.

I had a missed call from this number at 6:10pm. When I called the number back they said their normal business hours were M-F 8am-5pm. How did I get a call at 6:10pm then?

I have been receiving calls from 203-857-3800 since I purchased the stupid $2 National Parks bills as well. I called their customer service number (1-888-326-0978) and spoke with Sue. I gave her my name and ZIP code but then she wanted me to confirm my address. I declined to confirm it with her and told her that I had a DNC request out there and that they, under no circumstances, were to call me again. I mentioned that their lack of professionalism was deplorable and that they should be ashamed to sell our information.

She never denied that her company treats their customers like crap.

She said that I'd not receive another call from them.

Time will tell.

Beware.. This number showed up on my credit card bill next to a charge.  I have no idea who they are & never purchased anything from them.

Got two calls a week apart, both around 6:30pm, didn't answer. I did order the $2 bills as well. Not sure what to do, but I will keep an eye on my credit card bills.

I got billed 25.90 from someone in Norwalk coneticutt I don't know anyone from there! My bank told me someone did some fraud on my card and it's called new England mint. Im gonna investigate this!

Yes, I also ordered the $2 bills from them.  Now it makes sense, but I will report them now as I got a fishy call from someone linked to them on my home phone as well.  I kindly told them NO, and authorized NOTHING, and asked not to be called again.

Got a call from these people today as well - and did not pick up.  I am also on the NDNC list, and will report the call if it should happen again. No voicemail left, but still an unwanted call.

I just received a call from this number. Didn't recognize the number and of course didn't pick up.  Researched here, saw the National Motor Mint mentioned, never heard of them nor ordered from them. Then saw the item for $2 National Park Bills and I had ordered them in December I think, that was from the New England Mint. I'm really starting to think there is going to be a controversy brewing here. The mention of be charged for items a year after the initial purchase is something that really worries me. I would really hate to need to make a personal appearance to return an item. Don't need the extra wear and tear on my vehicle.
