Got a call from them last night. Told them they had the wrong number. They said they would update their records. Hopefully they don't call back again.

Just had a call from this number, I listened to their seal, and then told them if RBC isn't covering me for all the money I pay them, then I don't need this.  They sure hung up fast.  Still think I pay too much, why would I want to pay more.

Called, its a service to pay to protect identity, they knew my name and address surprisingly but I said not interested, they asked why, I said it's a scam then hung up.

This number phones me every single day.

ANNOYING!  I answer; no one says anything!!

Just had a call for my daughter and the caller said they would call back and he said his name was Jason Spearing.

They keep calling atleast twice a week.  No message or nothing.  I wont answer it, but im going to add that number to my block list.  Fun thing to do is to buy one of those air horns you blast at hockey games or football games, and when they call, answer it, and start talking, then just blow the horn right into the phone and pop their sorry a** eardrums out!!! lol

I doubt they'll call the number back after that..hahahaha

This number called twice this evening.  No one says anything and no message. Very annoying.

This number calls me often, sometimes daily.  When I answer there is no one on the line, never any message left.

Hi these guys are NOT RBC it is a phone scam saying it is them but it isn't.  I checked with RBC in person and found this out. DO NOT give out any information or sign up for the "service" being sold whatever you do.  And come on, would a professional bank like RBC really call its customers? No! Anyone on a phone can tell you they are from a company and lie to you.  Just do like I do and say you will go in to RBC and ask about the service in person and you want the name and number of the "nice person" who is letting you know so they get credit if you decide you want the service.  I did this, got hung up on 3 times and no longer get calls from these guys.

As for how they get the numbers that is simple: they use an auto dialer which runs numbers randomly through a computer until someone picks up and then they start a spiel.  And they only hope you are an RBC customer.  I have had this scam done to me with several banks, visas, etc but they do seem to love RBC as it is a widely known and respected bank.

this number called again last night at 930. wasn't home and no message left. thought telemarketers weren't supposed to call after 9. and i'm on the DNC list anyway.

called me at 9pm last night -again. unknown name -don't usually answer but picked up so wouldn't wake the kids. it's RBC wanting to give you your credit score then sell you a subscription to a credit alert system. thought they weren't supposed to call after 9pm.

this number calls 4 or 5 times a day-usually in evening-no name on caller id and no messages left.

First call from this number.  I let it go to voicemail.  No message left.
Second call from this number.  I answered.  Caller dropped call.
I decided to search for others' experiences.  Now, I know it is telemarketing.  I will block this number.

Received a call no message left.... Very annoying...almost everyday they are calling...

Received a call. No Message. Called the number back, recorded message stated they are a marketing and research company that makes marketing calls on behalf of banking institutions, insurance and research firms, etc. I assume it's an RBC thing in my case, I frequently get calls asking if I want to purchase insurance for my Visa.
