I received a call from this number earlier tonight.  I heard a garbled voice say something vaguely obscene and then the line went dead.  

He called and said, "F--- you, dude." Then hung up.

Got a call from this number today. Said hello - but was disconnected on their end.

My Mother has received calls from this number.The caller says they are a children's charity,yet when I can the number back it is not a working number!! I would like for the FCC to get involved because whomever these people are they are targeting older adults.I suspect they are still calling because the caller ID says 'unknown caller"

This guy is a jerk!!!!!!  They have nothing better to do than to bother people with hang ups. Try getting a real job

They repeated routine today 4/3/13.

Received call, when I answered they hung up. I tried calling back and I got a message saying that the special number cannot receive calls.

I normally do not answer calls from unknown numbers but this person keeps calling and won't leave a message. I finally answered the call today and heard a man yelling before I said hello. When I did say "Hello", he hung up. This is becoming very annoying!

I got a phone call today from these folks.  It is a robo caller.  I got connected to a live person who said they were fund raising for the sherrif's association.  It is a known scam.

Rang once, then caller hung up, no idea what this is or who it was, but based on the other comments, suspect it was a prank call.

Please stop calling and hanging up!

I received a call from this punk. When I answered he was talking to someone in the background and immediately changed the sound of his voice and asked me if he could send me a fire chief sticker in support of the Alabama Firefighters Academy. I asked him why he changed his voice and in a high pitched voice he replied "because I am cornholio!!!" I laughed and he hung up. I would kill that fool for prank calling me late T night though if I could find out who he is. I called the numbe back and it said the same as someone stated above "cannot receive calls from your special phone". Anyways, I wish they would call back... I've got something for them next time.

I got a call tonight from this number but did not answer it, tried to call it back and it said i could not call this special number..WTH???

Relax, it's just unsolicited calls from annoying jack***es. just got one a minute ago and gave it the ol' marine air horn blast after speaking softly and asking them to turn up their headset volume. Whether it does anything effective to punish them or not is irrelevant as it makes me smile so at least these things don't stress me out with constant annoyance. And if I get an address or the coordinates (which I will if they call back), I'm going to drop by and talk to them in person (I don't know why they're so stupid as to harass people in the same town the number is registered in, but that just makes it a shorter drive).

If more people registered their disapproval in person instead of through the Do Not Call list (aka the "list of working numbers to call list" as it's a sad joke) then it might stem this annoying tide.

We should post all coordinates/addresses of where all telemarketer calls originate from to facilitate more personal interactions between these companies and the public.

They called me and asked me yes sir, is this mr.smith? My father also lives here and of course is also named Smith, so I asked the woman "Which one?" and she hung up, I heard voices in the background talking, it was so weird I'm freaked out! If anybody knows who this is, please answer!! I'll check this post twice daily for a while and see if anyone can find anything out. Please respond if anyone knows anything or if the previous people had anything bad or strange happen to them shortly after. That was just so bizarre! I'm having to live with my parents for a few months (I'm 29 I know it's pathetic but helping me get back on my feet!), I digress, It could have been for my dad. But, either way, I would really like to get any information I about this asap, please. So if the other two people had anything happen in relation to the call, I would like to here about. If you prefer not to post i will give you my number in an email or something but I'd really like to get to the bottom of this.

Got a call from this number, and no one at the other end responded.  Dialed the # back and the response was No one is available to respond to the Special Phone #.

2nd call this week (different #) to have similar situations.

Callers like this is why my phone answering machine is used to screen calls and has outgoing message saying "You have reached xxx-xxx-xxxx.  If it's worth calling, leave a message and I'll get back to you.  If you don't think it worth leaving a message, why should I think it's worth answering the phone?"

Would like to have numbers like this blocked. What is wrong with these idiots?

Called 23 April at 18:13. Unknown caller ID. NO message - wonder if they are double teaming with 205-208-3897 ?? 13 minutes between calls.
