Why should political folks be 'exempt' from the do not call list?

The morons at Mitt Romney's Alabama campaign office continue to use robo-calls after I have left 2 messages for them to stop. My number is on the National Do Not Call Registry - so I hope the State Attorney General will get off his a** and stop these annoying and supposedly illegal calls.
