I got one today from a brand new number. Claiming that I would be sent a summons and that I should call back to get avoid being prosecuted on two counts, one being fraud that is attached to my name and SSN. Mind you they are using a last name I haven't used in nearly 5 years since being married. I call back and am rudely put on hold...for over 10 mins. I hang up and now that it's 6 pm her mailbox is just coming up. Number is 216-920-7668

Goldman and Associates, Karen Carol, ???? Moorehead.  Called and said I would have a fraud judgment against me if I didn't make a payment on something I had never had. Quickpayday loan.  I asked when it was taken out and she said in 2007.  Well I never used this company nor was I allowed to have any information when I called the police about an Identity theft report.  I called her back from the number on the caller ID but she said I could just tell it to the judge when it goes into litigation.  If they are a legit company, why not give the person your calling the information about your company.  GHETTO for sure.  She hung up on me three time and I kept calling her back trying to get information about her company.  For sure this is a scam.  If not then someone has stolen my identity and she informed me that they wouldn't have anything to do with it. If that's true, why the hell are they calling?  I need to report this in case it is an identity theft.  Anyone know who I can complain or file a complaint with??? She told me not to call her back anymore.  I think I will just to get on their nerves.

This phone number called today and left a VM- the same recorded VM that I had received from 401-223-3248 (RI)#, and 307-316-0809 (WY).  When I tried to answer one of the calls, a live person never picked up; each time I said hello the recording would just start over and over again.

Where are these calls coming from and why?

Received calls today from this phone number- same VM's left on both calls from the same person that called last week from the two other phone numbers 307-316-0809 (WY) and 401-223-3248(RI).  When I picked up one call to see who it was, a live person never even came on the line the recording just keep talking each time I tried to talk it would start over.  I decided to call the phone number back.  A lady answered legal department, and I asked what company are you with and she said GMA- Goldman and Associates, but she would not disclose their address or phone number. She said that they don't give that out, and she hung up.  So I called back again to try and get information, and another person answered the phone-legal processing department, they also would not me any company information unless I gave them a case #.  She said that I was asking too many questions.  She would not even disclose their actual phone number.  I told her that they are operating illegally if they cannot disclose any information about their company.  I kept hearing beeps like I was being recorded or that the conversation was being listend to, but bring it on.  If I cannot inquire about a simple thing like a company's address, or phone number, then something is wrong.  I refuse to give out any information to anyone who doesn't operate ethically.

Can anyone confirm who these people are and where they are located?  They are violating the FTC rules, and I would like to report them to my attorney general's office and the FTC.
